Hi everyone! Happy New Year! I’ve changed my business name to Paws Inspired Design, for a number of reasons but I mostly feel it embodies what I do more than Paws To Be Joyful. I’ve updated my Etsy and Instagram accounts but Facebook won’t let me change this page’s name even though I keep trying. If I can’t change it I might have to create a new page under Paws Inspired Design. So I’ll post any changes about that here to keep you updated! Thank you!

Although it is an uncertain time to order online right now because of the Canada Post ongoing strike, my Etsy shop is open and I would use a different mailing service to get any orders out promptly.

It will have to be sketch it Monday today instead of sketch it Tuesday because I started this last week and I'm trying to finish it. The other couple of dog sketches that I drew I'm not as happy with but this one seems to be going well. It's going to be an Australian Shepherd. Our dog Autumn is more of a German Shepherd they think although they don't know because she's a rescue.

I’d like to share that under the name MomentsbyIndia, my photo cards did very well and I was receiving orders every week. I really enjoyed shipping my cards all over the world. When I realized I was having a baby and would not have enough time to keep up with taking zoo photographs for my cards anymore, I started drawing artwork for my daughter’s nursery and I changed my Etsy shop’s name to PawsToBeJoyful.

The process to create the hand drawn cards that are on my Etsy shop today has not been easy especially with trying to keep printing costs down. I experimented and made the cards completely by hand but I could no longer keep up with that either. I’ve settled with hand drawing the animals for the card, digitally designing it and then having the cards printed by a printing company.

Unfortunately with all of these changes, my sales have been very low the last few years and this particular year I have almost given up numerous times. I even temporarily closed my Etsy shop for an afternoon.

Creating cards and having a card business has been a dream for the last ten years and I can’t give up. I’m always thinking of new animals to draw to turn into cards for birthdays, Christmas, to say thank you or for other occasions. I can’t stop creating what I love and I look forward to what I can bring to my Etsy shop in 2025 and beyond.

These two cards have been hand drawn, then designed digitally and finally printed. They are size 5x7 for the Christmas Penguins and 7x5 for the Christmas Tree Cats and come with a white envelope.

I’m thrilled to be offering them individually for $9, pack of 4 for $25, pack of 6 for $30 or pack of 8 for $35 and free shipping! With each pack you can choose to have all of the same design or half of each design.

For my part I will aim to get them shipped out as quickly as I can. I do ask that all Christmas orders are no later than Friday December 13 to ensure delivery before Christmas.
