IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Hey everyone I want to keep you all in the loop as to what's to come. This post is the absolute hardest post I've had to make.
As of July the rescue will be closing our doors. After everything that has happened here (electrical fire, flooded basement loosing all the freezer food ect) since the beginning of March. I've discovered the rescue building aka my home needs major repair as beams in basement are rotted and kitchen could cave I simply can't afford to fix the issues so I had no choice but to sell the house to a company that comes in and fixes and flips your house . They don't give much for your house but I'm able to pay the mortgage off and not much left after that. So it means I'll basically be homeless😭. I've tried everything to keep the house and rescue open but I just can't do it. The cats still here at the rescue will be taken inby fellow rescues.
And please DO NOT MESSAGE ME if you have a cat needing to be fixed. They will all be done before the rescue closes . If you message me panicking or get demanding you will be ignored. I fully intend to fix remaining cats needing to be done before I close completely.
Like I said this post has been weighing on me and totally shattering my heart this is all I know and the unknown is hard to think about. The not knowing where I will I will end up. I know I don't have to tell you all everything but it's important to me that I let you all know what's going on . I appreciate all the support for the last almost 15 yrs here in verner. I thank the volunteers, donations,supporters you all made this rescue what it was. Who knows if in the future if I can find a place and reopen I would love that but for now I need to find somewhere to go. And that my animals will be okay. With karma being sick and terminal and munchkin also being sick it's my priority to do what I can for them. Munchkin was my very first rescue when I moved here I found him crying at my shed and he's been here ever since.
This post is not one I ever planned to do or wanted to do. I worry about the animals I won't be able to help. But I can't do much for them if I don't have a place. I'm so very sorry to have to close the rescue it's the last thing I wanted. We will finish the Joker fundraiser and they will be done by the time we close. I just wished it would have turned out better and not all this bad stuff that has happened. I wish everyone a happy life and be grateful for what you have it could all be gone at the drop.of a dime just look at me never did I think I would be homeless😭 but here I am. Be thankful for everything. I love you all my rescue family I will never forget any of yous . You truly made this rescue a happy one.

Well I got a little surprise went to shed to feed the ferals and saw a cat run by in shed I was talking to her couldn't see her she's one that would not go in my traps before but I went to put the dish of food down and found babies there's 4 or 5 of them a week old at most . So I brought her out kitten food and soft too hoping she doesn't move them til they are old enough for me to grab them gonna keep trying to trap her to fix too as well as the others was not expecting to find kittens and so it begins again don't worry they are warm they are in a carrier with blankets and I have a blanket ontop too was there for them over the winter so they could stay warm I will keep watch everyday til I can take them where they will be safe without momma . Right now they need her more. See guys this right here is the reason we do fundraising need donations to help these poor soul to get a chance at getting a home🥰

Momma kitty is also avail. Very sweet girl affectionate she will be ready soon . We think this was her 1st heat and that she is young . No more babies from her. Pets Need Love 2 is proudly owned and operated by Nancy Jennings. Nancy opened her home to animals in August of 2009, where she purchased her home in Verner, Ontario. Nancy has been rescuing her whole life. It is her passion. She wants to make a change in her community by saving the animals who are in need, all while facing really difficult barriers, from an electrical fire, flood, no food for herself, insurance issues, mental impacts and now knowing she is losing her own furbaby. We are needing your help. Pets Need Love 2 is facing financial hardships. We rely on community donations to keep the rescue up and running. With little donations coming in, after 14 years of Pets Need Love 2, Nancy will need to close her rescue. Which means sick and unhouse animals will be on our streets dying, injured and unloved.

Food, litter, toys, monetary donations, anything helps. We as a community can help Nancy continue to do what she loves; Bringing life back to injured,sick or unloved animals and finding loving homes.

We are running very low on clumping litter if anyone can donate we would really appreciate it ALOT we are on our last box and with 20 plus cats it won't last long 😩 any kind of clumping.is ok 😀

Here are some angel wings and pawprints I've made some are avail some are to give an idea of what different colors make . They can be made in your color of choice these look so pretty on a wall or door . All proceeds from these will go towards karmas vet bills .

Well we are home karma has a few things going on 😭 she's got diabetes which were treating for and she has a mass with fluid in her belly which is suspected cancer and may have thyroid issue too but we have to test again in a month as the diabetes could be reading her thyroid the way it is. I Start her injections tomorrow morning she will get 2 a day recheck her blood in 2 weeks and see if it needs adjusting . My poor girl 😢 she was such a good girl at the vets def not a cheap visit but she is worth it my soul dog 💓

Thank you all for the prayers for karma they are getting her in today as an emergency at 1:40 😭 I'm so worried I'm gonna loose my girl . And want to thank the people who sent a donation to help with her vet care this is gonna be an expensive visit 😢. I'll update once she is seen and hoping for a good outcome ❤️
