RUSTY HAS BEEN ADOPTED.

Thank you to everyone who has expressed interest. We will update the post with any news.

A list of local people is being reviewed by the current owner. We will notify anyone if they wish more information and if they have made a short list.

The response has been overwhelming. The owner has expressed wishes to place Rusty locally.
Thank you to everyone who is not in the Victoria area. If plans change, we will reach out to those outside of the Victoria area.

Available for immediate placement or fostering.

Meet Rusty.
Rusty is 7.5 years old and needs a furever home. His human cannot keep him due to a change in place of living.

A little about Rusty:
- weighs 35+lbs, needs to lose a few lbs and needs exercise
- vet says last check up, 6 months ago, showed no health issues other than weight
- teeth are in good condition

Rusty is very, very affectionate and gets along well with everyone.

Tick season is upon us.

Check your dog DAILY for ticks - don't forget they may attach inside ears, around the re**um and even inside the mouth 😱

So happy to see progress being made to work towards minimizing, and maybe one day curing, such a tragic health condition.

The University of Florida Small Animal Hospital is in the process of developing an Open-Heart Surgery Program to provide surgical repair of the mitral valve in MVD-affected dogs.

Mimzy has not passed her health clearances; at the request of the owner, will be staying with The ParkinLot. This sweet and loving girl will have the support of her bonded pair-mate, Remy.

Remy passed his health clearances and, at the request of the owner and breeder, has been placed in his forever home, with The Parkinlot. Remy is staying as a bonded pair with Mimzy to be her constant support.
