We are having an OPEN HOUSE at our VHS Shelter this weekend!! This one is on: Saturday, December 9th.

DETAILS........

WHERE WILL WE BE:
It will be located at: 4217 Glanford Avenue, from 10am - 2pm.
WHO WILL BE THERE?!
We will have PUPPIES, and AMAZING ADULT DOGS (hopefully) , that are all looking for THEIR FOREVER homes.

If you are wanting to adopt but aren't sure what you are looking for, come meet some of our WONDERFUL & AMAZING dogs!!
Only approved adopters will actually be able to adopt but everyone can come for some snuggles and talk to our volunteers and adoption counsellors.

WHICH PUPPIES/DOGS WILL BE THERE??
We don’t know EXACTLY who will be there as it will depend on the foster's availability, what puppies are left from which litters, and how many volunteers we can get at short notice.....but we have so many WONDERFUL dogs in care so there is guaranteed to be cuddles available.
Please SPREAD THE WORD!!! as Adoption Rates are down everywhere, and we have a waiting list of dogs and puppies to come in.

We know there are amazing homes out there. We just have to find them.

We will also be accepting our 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS Wish List Gifts for our animals at this OPEN HOUSE! We appreciate your generosity towards our animals!!

HAPPY SATURDAY - TODAY IS DAY #1 OF OUR PUPPY PLAY DATE EVENT!!!

We are having a PUPPY PLAY DAY at Uptown Mall on Saturday, February 18th & Sunday, February 19th - 10:30 am til 2:30 p.m. on both dates

We are in Suite #107 - adjacent Best Buy

All our puppies will be there looking for love.

Please note only adopters with approved applications AND a SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT can actually pick a puppy, so if you think it’s the right time to add a puppy to your family you can fill out an application now with just PUPPY EVENT in the name and we will try to review your application asap. Or if you have previously applied you can message us and tell us you are interested in coming to puppy playday.

NOTE: We are SCHEDUILING APPOINTMENTS for approved applicants to meet puppies! NO "DROP-IN'S" for adopting - you must be approved AND have an appointment!!

If you just want some puppy love, stop by for snuggles!!

We will also have our very nice Volunteers at this Event to answer any questions you may have about our Adoption Program, our Foster Program, our Volunteer Program or just any general visit!!

It is hard work being the Canine Ambassador for Victoria Humane Society so I hired an assistant. Chester came in needing a home and a job, now we work together! He will be in charge of all cat scans when we have new cats come in.
