ADOPT HONEY , this is beautiful Honey mom to 4 female pups , one is beside her.
Honey was abandoned in a box with her 4 pups and rescued by Cinthya Paz and taken to the Refugio Teca Animals sheltter . She is doing great there with her pups who are now about 7 months old and is ready march for a forever home . She is amazing with her pups and gets alone great with 47 other dogs at the shelter and was just tested successfully with cats . She is only 4.5 kgs and 1 year old terrier mix . Adopt Abril . She is a sweetheart 6.5 kgs and about 4 years old mexican mix . She was found malnourished on the side of the road by Cinthya Paz and brought to the Refuge where she has been happy and healthy living with 50 other dogs . She is very sweet and good with all dogs cats and kids . Abril is spayed vaccinated and healthy . Meet this lovely adoptable boy Pinky who is 6.5 kgs pr 14 lbs and about 2 years old chi mix . Pinky is currently at the refuge in puerto vallarta and can fly to BC on march . Take a look all these small dogs are getting ready to fly to victoria march or april if adopted . They are currently at Refugio Teca Animals with 50 other dogs after being rescued from being abandoned on the side of the road or tossed in a box in a field . They are all vaccinated fixed and get along so well with all the dogs . We are a small rescue with 11 years experience and i have adopted over 300 dogs to BC . Refugio Teca Animals have nice clean houses , which is a big job considering there are 47 dogs living there and we have to have water delivered and put in cisterns every month . Always lots of work for Cinthya Paz , Roberto Ramirez Lazcano and Ruth and Cesar for these amazing shelter dogs . We thank our sponsors who help us monthly for 50cad dollars to feed one dog . Ok guys sasha and her sister luvia are available for adoption and can travel to victoria BC jan feb .We would love to kèep them together if possible but we are also open to separating them . They are sisters abandoned in a box at 3 months and they are now about 8 months old . They weigh about 5 kgs and we believe they are snauzer , daschund , yorkie mix 🙂. People relinquish their pets for various, often heartbreaking reasons, including cost of care, insufficient housing options for pet owners and access to veterinary care. However, quite often people see their pets as a commodity and do not take enough responsibility to get the basic care done, including spay/ neuter. This ends up adding newborn puppies to the already problematic overpopulation. The easiest way to deal with this is to put them in a bag or a box and dispose of them. This was sadly the case with Maya, who was thrown into an empty lot along with her sister and brother. Claudia was not sure how long they had been there trying to survive without food and water to the careless looks of people passing by, but she cared enough to pick them up and bring them to the shelter where she arranged for a vet visit. They were filthy, full of ticks and flies and had skin infections but fortunately, none of the scary illnesses were present. After initial care and treatment, they were ready to leave their past and look to a brighter future.

Maya is a beautiful mutt, about 7 months old and weighs approx. 13 kilos.

Despite being a puppy, Maya behaves well and gets along with humans of all ages. She gets along with the rest of the dogs in the shelter as well as the cats. She is happy to share her food with other dogs and is not possessive of her toys or sleeping area. Staff at the shelter are working on her potty training, walks on leash and some commands. So far, she is doing good with the first two and has learned what “no” and “ven” (come) means. Maya can go to a family with other dogs to play with or no dogs so she can get all the love for herself.

The adoption fee for Maya is $550 and includes flight, spay, vaccines, and full vetting. She can be on a flight, if a foster or adoptive home is found.
