DNA results are in! 2 girls and 4 boys in this clutch. Babies are growing up fast! 5 weeks old now and will be ready for homes in approximately 3 weeks depending on weaning.

Happy baby beeps. They don't make this sound when they get older. Baby beeps happen when they start getting sleepy after filling their tummies with warm formula.

DNA has been sent in for the Rose Crown conures! We should find out next week if I actually have a pair or if they are both the same.

The Boy & Franklin. Fast friends already after just 24 hours together. He is a high red (red factor)yellowsided green cheek, she is a yellowsided green cheek.

5 out of 6 of the last conure clutch have all found homes. The 6th boy is going to hang around here and keep Franklin company for now. However if someone is looking for a male yellowsided he is still available. (Franklin is not available)

4 bigs, 2 littles. Appears to be 1 pineapple. Pretty standard clutch for these two! I'd be thrilled if more than 1 was pineapple 🍍 Two of them have their eyes open but they were too sleepy for a photoshoot. They will be available mid/late November. (Green cheek conures)☃️🎅🎄

Mama and Papa double clutched. There's usually many, many months between clutches but not this time. 6 babies in nest, the biggest ones eyes are opening already.

Unfortunately sometimes news here is sad. 💔 Poe's two little babies didn't survive. We lost one last week and the other one passed today. I have no explanation, sometimes it happens sadly. I think the parents knew something was wrong and rejected them because they laid again right away. The babies appeared to have foot issues and their bellies didn't look quite right. I tried my best.

DNA results are in! This cutie is a little boy and he is available. He's a sweetheart. I was certain he was a girl but that's why I do DNA!

I'm not sure Empire Cockatiels was the best name as my conure numbers keep increasing!

Introducing our new additions (unnamed for now).

Rose crowned conures.

Slightly bigger than my other conures. When hand tamed, these birds are supposed to be extremely cuddly, loveable and playful. They are also supposed to be quieter than other conures.

I purchased these two as a pair but will be sending in DNA at some point to be sure they are. From my research both sexes look alike. Juveniles have less/no rose on their crowns so I assume the one is quite young.

The older one is partially tame but very skittish, the other one can't be touched. Yet. With time and patience I'm sure they'll both be easily handled.

Hopefully in the near future I will have rose crown babies available! 🩷

Turquoise baby is 6 weeks old and will be available for a new home in approximately 2 weeks. Gender currently unknown....I am hoping to get the DNA test mailed out today and hopefully results by end of week or early next week.

Poe is a mama. We have 2 little babies with black eyes meaning they are not lutino like their mom. This is Poe's first clutch.
