Thank you to the kind person who donated this food! This has been dropped off with the lovely person who is looking after the 2 cats we had fixed recently and will no doubt feed other cats that are part of the feral colony in Edelweiss. 🐱 ♥️

If you have anything cat related you can donate, anything helps! Food, food bowls, old sheets and towels, cat carrier, etc.

Today with the help of some amazing people, we transported one handsome male and one gorgeous female to the Wakefield Vet to be spayed/neutered.

As I was leaving Chemin Du Soleil in Edelweiss I spotted 4 more cats that looked very similar. The hardest part for us is that there aren’t many appointments available at the local vet, so even if we trap these cats, it will take weeks, even months for them to be fixed, which is a lot of time to repopulate.

If you are a cat lover/cat owner, PLEASE, do not let your cats outside until they are fixed. We need to get on top of the exploding feral cat population and prevention is key.
