How do horses get misaligned?

Answer: By being horses!...being saddled, asked to carry the weight of a rider, and asked to perform as athletes.

Equine Chiropractic…what is it?

It is the manual maneuvering of the vertebrae structure to ensure nervous system control and complete muscle coordination.

Misalignments of these spinal vertebrae cause irritation to the nerves and muscles that affect movement and mobility. When movement between 2 vertebrae is restricted, the horse doesn’t have total flexibility of the spine. This results in lowered performance.

In September I decided it was time to take a break from the farm life to pursue a career in Equine Therapy. And im SO glad I did! I am now a certified Equine Therapist from the HJW Equine Studies Equine Therapy program.
