So.....I hate to ask but if you could vote for My Girl Friday - Dog Training (and me), that would be amazing! I had some issues with Google not verifying my business (please don't ask me about it now, the trauma is just starting to subside) and because of that, I had to create a new business page. I used to be at the top of the list when people googled "positive dog trainers near me" and now I'm not so....

This is Maximum. He loves to rip things. And I totally let him! Wanna know why? ⬇️

He tears off legs, ears and arms and then pulls most if not all of the stuffing out. Until he finds the squeaker....

And then he looks at me....

And then I say "wanna do a trade?" and he gets up, squeaker in his mouth and trots off to the kitchen.

He goes straight to the treat cupboard (yes, I have a treat cupboard for my dogs....I also have one for us humans) 😁 and waits for me, tail and butt wagging furiously!

I get whatever treat is of equal or higher value and he opens his mouth, essentially spits out the squeaker and he gets his treat.

I have never had to take something out of his mouth. It's never been a game of chase. It's never been a battle or an argument. He knows that when he hears the word "trade" that something even better than what he has in his mouth is coming!
