I had this sweet gentleman for a couple of days and he was absolutely terrified in the foster room. When I received his vet records showing his history it’s no wonder that he was so scared, he has lost so much in his life. He has since moved to a new foster in our program that has a much quieter home and he is absolutely thriving.

Hi everyone! My name is Lucky and I would like to introduce myself to you all tonight.
You’d think with the name I have that life would be great and happy, full of snuggles and treats right? Well a lot of the time it has been! I have been a happy guy but I have also been pretty sad. You see, in 2016 my mama was all of a sudden gone, I heard she went to this place called heaven which sounded really nice but I couldn’t visit her and I missed her so much! That’s when her friend took me in and I got a whole new mama who loved me so much and gave me all the snuggles and treats! But one day this year my new mama also went to the place called heaven, where I can’t go yet, and no one was there to take me in.
Luckily (my name worked again!) I found my way to this place called a foster home? I don’t know, I’m nearly 13 1/2 years old and these new terms are confusing to me. The nice lady caring for me tells me that I’m only here for a little bit while they work to find me the perfect FINAL forever home where I can live out my life getting all the snuggles and soaking up the sunshine until I can finally go and visit my mama’s.
So here’s a “selfie” (that’s what it’s called I guess) so you can put a face to my name. If you could share my story to help me find my final mama or even a new papa, that would be wonderful.

Braxton and Winski have some exciting news!
A couple was interest in adopting Winski but when they went to meet him, Braxton refused to be left behind so they had no choice to adopt them both (good work Braxton 😉)
These boys are going to be off living their best life this weekend once their new parents have everything settled in for them. If you have enjoyed seeing them over at Ren’s Pets St. Catharines you have a few days left to go in and see them before they move on from the adoption centre.

Winski is the most affectionate soul. Hands down. Period. If you are searching for a companion that lives for pets, cuddles and head butts look no further! He will spend all the time in the world with you enjoying your company and soaking up your affections.
When he is not demanding love, he enjoys playing with his brother, Braxton, and will tear around the house wrestling with him.
Winski is incredibly well rounded and would most likely thrive in any situation. He is not too fond of sharing space with a dominate male cat, but he has absolutely no problems with all other cats he meets. He also enjoys the company of calm dogs. His personality is a bit "much" and he would do well in a home with a companion to help quiet his moods when he gets a little too excited.
This little love bug would be an amazing addition to anyone looking to add some extra sweetness to their home.

Braxton is as unique as they come! With his big bright eyes and slightly upturned nose his looks are as endearing as his personality. If you’re searching for an insanely affectionate, adorably playful and rambunctiously curios partner in life then this is the guy for you.
Braxton is so well rounded his foster mom feels like he would fit in almost anywhere. He has no issues with other cats and didn’t even blink an eye when it came to meeting dogs for the first time in his life. He and his brother, Winski, have the best time roughhousing and chasing each other through the house. He would definitely benefit from having a playmate to help him work out his energy.
Braxton would do well in a home that can handle his over the moon personality and knows that when it comes to his new home nothing is off limits. As much as his foster mom has been trying to teach him manners, his curious personality has a hard time restricting itself. Everything is fair game in his mind so you can expect some occasional counter surfing and when he wants love and pets then he is going to claim those no matter what.
Braxton does tend to nip when overly stimulated so a home with young children is not recommended.

This is definitely not something I would usually post. I am not someone to ask for help unless it is absolutely my last resort. I have been trying to purchase a second hand washing machine for weeks now with no luck. The amount of laundry I have to do with all my fosters is only going to increase in the coming months with the looming kitten season, laundry will be a nearly daily occurrence. I am looking for a washer that has a sanitize setting, as mine has unfortunately thrown the counter balance weight (busted off completely) it is functional but needs resetting multiple times a load and that is just not feasible for the amount of laundry that needs to be done.
If you know anyone looking to sell their old unit for a reasonable price please let me know 🥰

Morning conversations with Klem (black and white) and Cindy. These two are 11 months old and still available for adoption through Niagara Action for Animals. While they do not need to stay together, it would be wonderful if this brother/sister duo found a home with each other 💕 Klem must have a feline companion to help continue to grow his confidence. Cindy is rather independent and would be just fine on her own with her human. Neither are suited to a home with children or excitable dogs as they do not enjoy a lot of activity in their home. The babies are growing! They’ve been moved into a new pen where their mama’s can come and go as they please (since every mother needs a minute to breathe away from their children!) and will eventually be allowed to fully roam the kitten room once they have mastered the litter box. It has not been an easy journey, and it is far from over, but these babies are getting there 🥰 Disclaimer: I have had both litters (Sept. 13th for the tabby’s and Sept. 15th for the grey and white) in my care and quarantined prior to introducing them. It is not safe to mix litters without a proper quarantine period! It can be extremely dangerous to add kittens to a litter without first determining their medical status. Sneak peek 👀 I know this page has been quiet lately so here’s a look behind the scenes, it has been a busy fall to say the least! These kittens are not yet available for adoption. We do not hold, waitlist or accept applications until the kittens are ready for adoption! Keep an eye on this page and when they are available they will be posted with instructions on how to apply for adoption. Update from my personal heart: I am FULL. Completely full to the max and no way I can take in any more fosters, these 15 kittens plus my little fighter Emerald (see page for his story) who is FINALLY growing and getting some friends his own age to play with and learn from. His mama Sapphire (to be introduced when she’s not so… feisty) as well as two other mama kitties for the tiny babies. I am at maximum capacity, yet I am getting requests all the time for cats and kittens in need. I am so very lucky to be working with amazing organizations like NAFA and Niagara SPCA & Humane Society, but there is only so much that one person/organization can do. This is where YOU come in. You, who have read this far, a human who loves animals and wishes they could help any way they can. Well, this call is for you. If you are wanting to help a feline in need by fostering but don’t know where to start, reach out and I would be happy to point you in the right direction. If you are unable to help by fostering but would love to help out in any way, donations are so very important to keep these organizations going! Food donations (do you know how much 15 kittens can eat once they’re weaned 😅 not to mention how much a nursing mother needs to consume to feed her babies) litter donations (I can’t even explain how much litter they go through 🤣) and laundry detergent! All of these go a long way in helping to ensure these organizations keep going.
