Another season of elfing is upon us, …send help!
Today was a beachin’ day!
Our friends Katrine and Eric took us out on the boat to the beach… wind in my floof, sand in my toe beans and jumping in the waves 🌊
I’m getting so brave in the water, this is the furthest I have gone and I loved it! 💦 While I made new friends and played, Bentley got lots of loving and soaked up the sun in the beach bag!
Just once I wandered off out of mama’s comfort zone and she chased me down the beach w the bag of popcorn (she’s so embarrassing 🙄)
Eric caught a huge fish 🎣 but he said it was a stinky pike and released it, so much for fish dinner!
Thank you for a great day Eric and Katrine , we had the best time… we will sleep well tonight ~ love, Dee 😘

Cannella and Dixie’s great escape.
It was Friday night, a night like any other county night, pitch dark and a storm was rolling in… mama went out to bring the big girls in for the night but no big girls to be found.
Come Nellie! Come Dixie! Not a hoof, nor a snort not even a hint of a whinny to be heard in the night.
Equipped with a leadrope, a flashlight and handful of treats, mama sloshed out in the wind and rain to find them.
No Nellie here, no Dixie there… they were not in the trees nor in the brush, mama’s heart was a rush…
With visions of 🐴🐴 galloping the millennium trail, what could possible go wrong so mama sloshed on out into the hay fields creepin 👀 in the darkness
Finally as mama came round the far end of the fence, she spots Kit the cat darting into the trees and there they were, the two dark silhouettes of the escapees.
SLISH-SLOSH, CLIP-CLOP, BARK BARK (🤭 that was me barking into the night) and off to the barn they went. With the big girls finally tucked in safe and sound, it was time for lights out.
I greeted a soggy mama at the gate and we went inside to snuggle in bed for a good night’s sleep. The End.
…An hour later the alarm went off and it was time to start a new day!
We don’t know how or when it all went down but we do know THIS is WHERE they made their great escape.
