Rainbow Farm is a working farm and animal sanctuary founded by Heather and Cheryl in 2015.

Once people knew that the local veterinarian had a farm, the animals started to arrive. She and Cheryl were interested in hospice/palliative care for animals.

It’s been quite awhile since I last posted. My apologies for the silence. Rainbow Farm had to step back from taking in any new critters for a couple of years, mostly due to financial constraints and health issues. But yesterday we opened our doors, so to speak, to a 30+ year old donkey, named Toto, and his older sheep friend, Bumper. Both are settling in nicely. 🐴 🐑

Love of the Land Valentine’s Baskets. A compilation of locally made products. All baskets include: a birch candle holder, beeswax tea lights, a jar of old fashioned buttermilk biscuit mix, 2 flavours of homemade jam or jelly, 250ml bottle of maple syrup, 1 dozen homemade chocolates OR 1 dozen homemade peppermint patties, plus a few little surprises.

Eloise and Momma Cat love to snuggle together. They do it every day. Eloise was a feral from Wolfe Island, and Momma Cat was dumped between the doors of the vet clinic after hours. Her kitten was delivered by C-section, thanks to Heather. ❤️🌈
