Training c**ts ain’t about them being numb and quiet it’s about having a foundation on them.
Showing them how to handle pressure, handle themselves correctly, doing the basics correctly, separating their feet and trusting the program

It’s easier to teach them correctly from the start than it is going and fixing it later on, because they will always revert to what they are first taught in some shape or form

4 years ago I rode the look and these days there is nothing more frustrating than getting on horses that have the look, but don’t have the feel of left and right with there noses and feet following. True collection I believe now comes from connection and feel not the look because sometimes the look has zero feel

What a past couple weeks it’s been, getting a phone call to help victory farms out get these c**ts ready for the pink buckle sale.
Well we got 10 of them riding and all through the previews, this c**t here was my high seller at 51k by winners version out of wheely quick.
Michelle had stayed home in Canada to keep the fort rolling and flew down to help me out here on Sunday. Thank you to all our clients for understanding and to victory farms for believing in my program

We all ask how does he do it, where’s the time to ride that many…… let me tell you my secret it’s because I ride by feel not by the clock. Horses are trained by feel not by reading the clock. I want my horses to understand pressure and release and want them to know what feel feels like from ride one. I have a lot of people to thank who have taught me over the past few years but nothing happens without YOU putting the time in and learning the process **tstarting

Michelle’s been doing a great job continuing horses while I’m down with a broken femur. Michelle keeps these horses advancing through the program and sitting back watching I couldn’t be more proud. It’s easy to just sit up there and ride your horse and never teach them anything but to sit up there and continue teaching them what a foundation really is takes a hand. When it comes to a foundation I believe that you must teach them the basics so they have something to fall back on later in life

Here’s a video of a 2 yo with 60 days that just went home to his owner. This is what a foundation is about 30 day wonders don’t get you a foundation, I keep noticing most horses that come with problems don’t know how to separate there front feet and have been sacked out so there’s no feel that’s not a foundation that’s just not knowing what feel feels like

This is nothing more than being a horseman, having horses trust you as much as you trust your program, I want them to look for my guidance when in doubt. I also want them to make mistakes so they can learn from them.

A c**t that has a solid foundation even just in the arena will always be great when you take them out for the first time because they trust you and your program

WE ARE EXPANDING


Here at WMPH we are proud to say we are expanding and having a few different routes available. For those of you who don’t know Wade has spent 3 years working and riding along side Ncha futurity champions, but spent his whole life riding, spent time heading to roping jackpots and has ridden some of the top bred cow prospect the industry has to offer. Michelle has spent 9 years under cowhorse, jumpers and dressage horse she knows her way around horses better than most, she don’t claim to be a trainer but does claim to be a trainers wife and trust me when I say she’s handier than most

Starting 2/3yos isn’t a hard job when done correctly, but we will now be offering some more spots, prices will vary depending on horse and what they have done (who has had them is the biggest thing) we aren’t looking to fix every “trainers” problems we are 2yo trainers that put a foundation on your horse

We have a large list of happy clients and horses are more than welcome to be viewed. For the small talk people who have nothing better to do than talk smack or make out they are trainers and send them out, my arena doors are always open, or just leave your thoughts with your trainer or yourself and when your horse needs fixed I will happily charge you double.

Our program is focused on a horses needs not our own but horses are put through real life situations.
We find it’s better to get your c**t broke rather than quiet they will have a lot more respect in real life situations, quiet and not broke is a ticking time bomb, broke and quiet will do whatever you need.

I’m big on wanting my horses to have feel, if they don’t have feel I have nothing to work, but with feel and letting them express there emotions you are able to teach them how to think through the situation

Here’s a 2yo gelding that come, has been with us for maybe 2weeks, he’s forward, soft and knows already the boundaries.

I’ve had the pleasure to be a 2yo trainer for industry leaders in Oklahoma and Texas and what I learnt has just helped me develop my own program

Feels pretty good to get some these 30-45 day c**ts out into the big arena and see where they are at. This little filly just improves daily and I think I’ve lost her to Michelle now

We have had multiple horses from our program sell recently and have had great feedback from the owners. We have limited availability for august onwards
