What made Julia want to take Christopher home?
"My family and I had very recently lost our family dog and the day I met Christopher, we were at the Humane Society to donate a brand new bag of dog food we had purchased just before our dog passed. I wasn’t in the market for a new family member, but we decided to look at the cats anyway. I saw Christopher in his cat condo and instantly wanted to meet him. I got a visitor pass and when I met him, I just thought he was the sweetest little thing - he was so relaxed and all stretched out in his bed and I instantly felt a connection to him. I left that day without adopting him, but couldn’t stop thinking about him the following week, and so the next Friday, I left work early to go adopt him.
Meeting Christopher just felt so serendipitous and I just couldn’t let him pass me by! I felt that we both needed each other and had found each other at the perfect time - it really was a 'when you know, you know' kind of thing."
