We are saddened to learn of the passing of one of our puppy parents. As a result, we are now hoping to place Jiggs into a new home. He is one of our puppies from our litter last year. I’ve requested a recent picture, but have not received one yet. If anyone is interested, please reach out

Pine Tree C**nhound Club will be holding their youth event July 13th. A great opportunity to introduce kids to the hound lifestyle. Lots of learning opportunities and don’t worry, if you don’t have a hound there will be lots of them available and handlers to help. Reach out if you have any questions.

Dogs did alright in Albion today. Dax took line and tree in the grade field trial, Solo did well in her first bench show, winning in the green class against a beautiful Gascon Bluetick and Stitch also won first place in the registered class and best of breed also. Mayhem had an ‘off’ day, so we will work hard for the Lyndonville show at the end of July

Mayhem being the rock star we knew she’d be.

Red River Montana Mayhem won best overall registered female yesterday, and then went on to win best pair overall with Jillian Hodgin and Fort Ridge Kiss My Glass aka Louis who is sitting in 10th place for points with the UKC. Eventual plan is to raise a litter of puppies off of these two 😊

We are looking at changing our kennel name from Red River Redbones to something to incorporate all our hounds, as we have Blueticks and a Black and Tan as well. We can’t decide, so we are reaching out to all of you, as we would like to have your input as to which logo you like the best😊

Mayhem, Stitch, Skye, Dax and Rook all came to Maine today for field trials. Mayhem picked up Best Overall Registered female and has qualified for regionals and Dax was First line in Grade class, so ribbon wins for them both. Have a bit more work to do with them. Skye has also gained enough points for Bench Show Champion status and should be getting some mail. We also gained a new member of our pack, a little Bluetick named Solo. All in all a great day again, meeting up with friends and talking dogs😊

Puppies, adults, and senior dogs can all benefit from being crate trained, and it’s a skill they can learn at any age.

Had such a fun weekend at the 2024 Maine Sporting Dog Association Bear Trial. Our dogs did well, with Dax, and Skye earning ribbons and points, and Stitch earning point’s as well. We look forward to seeing everyone at the next event😊.

Love these blown trucks.

And now we have four 🥹. It’s been a hard day for me, but knowing where these beautiful puppies went, makes it definitely a lot easier

Did a bit of scent introduction to the puppies. It’s a coonskin cap with coon scent on it. It was pretty well received by all the puppies

Introduced some new toys tonight. Some of them like them and some prefer chewing my pant leg instead

All puppies did really well for their first ride in the truck, not one got sick 😊. All puppies checked out 100% healthy at the vet. All are micro chipped and have first shots and a vet record now as well. They are a bit tired tonight, but a good nights sleep should help.

It takes me longer to make their mash then it does for them to eat it😂😂

The puppies this morning…my modifications last night seemed to have worked 😊 things were not as messy this morning. The puppies have had their breakfast, and now are playing. Momma only feeds them twice a day now❤️

Puppies tonight. We hopefully modified some things in the puppy room to try and keep things a bit cleaner….they haven’t destroyed my efforts yet, so maybe we are onto something 🤷‍♀️. Anyways all have super healthy appetites and are all drinking water now. I’d love to get some weights on them, but it’s now a two person job.

Jesse Jane was showing Buck the ropes of being allowed off leash. He did really well, and listened pretty good. We even went up in the woods

They’ve eaten and now it’s playtime. They are really interacting with each other now, and little personalities are starting to develop ❤️

Dehydrated cows ears and jerky strips are now the chew toy of choice for these little puppies. I’d say they are a hit

The puppies literally devoured every single morsel of mash tonight

I think these puppies have it figured out…🐾❤️🐾

Jesse Jane and Buck were playing tonight. Both had lots to say, and both use their paws to push each other

Day 2 of puppy mash.

7 little puppies had their first taste of puppy mash tonight. Momma dog is trying her very best at keeping them full of milk, but these puppies are so hungry, that they are pretty much emptying her out within minutes. I’d say it was a huge success
