This is my favorite fundraiser event! Pick up a pledge form and join us for a fun day with our dogs, and for a good cause! Sprocket is my SPCA poster child...I learned of her on the 2020 Dr Brian's Friends for Life Dog Walk and got to meet her at the shelter when we were dropping off the BBQ etc. It was love at first site and the rest is history! 🙂

We are starting to gear up for our "Dr. Brian's Friends For Life Annual Dog Walk." JUST 9 WEEKS AWAY! Can you believe "29 years"?! If you would like participate in this year's walk, please contact the shelter at 306-783-4080, or email [email protected]. You can either register to be a participant or simply pledge someone who is walking in the event. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places for whomever raises the most funds, as well as a prize for the oldest canine attendee. We will be finishing the event with a Hot Dog BBQ. My only disclaimer of this advice is I still do not recommend rinsing filter media under the tap with chlorinated water. I prefer to be on the safe side and just use the water I remove when I do my weekly partial water changes to rinse them in. Remember different areas have different water sources and conditions, so what works in one area may not work in yours!
