Wiggly Field-Yorkton's Off Leash Dog Park

Many residents of Yorkton had been talking about needing an Off Leash Dog Park in our community. The city has budgeted $25,000.00 to build such a park and allocated 2 acres of land to build it on at JC Beach. There was some fundraising required to make this a happen as the total expense were $38,000.00 for the plan in place. It was up to community members and volunteers to raise to raise the other

$13,000.00 before it could be taken back to city council for further action to be taken. Our community's combined efforts to made the our dream a reality! This page will be left up to preserve the memories, and so the dog park users can post their own pictures of their dogs at the park and organize doggie play dates with their dog's best friends! Enjoy!
