We love our home in the country. We love looking out across the fields and enjoy the changes of the seasons . We love that we are near Edmonton, Sherwood Park and Fort Saskatchewan to enjoy the amenities of city life but mostly we enjoy the ability to escape to our farm and enjoy ‘just being’. It’s like coming home to a vacation getaway everyday. And, we want to share our home with those of you who truly appreciate country living the way that we do.

Welcome to the Heartland Bunkhouse. Three bedrooms, one bath, a full kitchen and a large deck and barbecue is your home away from home.

If you enjoy hiking and nature the Heartland Bunkhouse is ten minutes to Elk Island National Park’s west gate. It’s the gate the locals use. 16 km to the Strathcona Wilderness Centre where you can rent cross country skis and snowshoes and enjoy groomed trails. The Blackfoot Grazing Area Waskahegan staging area is 26 minutes from the farm and the multi use Iron Horse Trail is less than 50 minutes away. Hike, ski, or bring your horse and ride. Ask us about stable space for your horse.
We ask that you keep your pets at your permanent home as we keep our animals in the barn and pasture.

Less than 10 km to Alberta’s Industrial Heartland. If you happen to be doing industrial turnarounds or contracts in the Heartland you will appreciate calling the Bunkhouse home after a long day at work.

You may just want to kick back on the farm. Enjoy your coffee on the spacious deck while your steak is grilling on the propane bbq. Or, head on down to the granary gazebo and roast s’mores over an open fire.

Explore some of our local shops minutes away. Garlic and Jams from Herbal Roots, locally roasted coffee and gifts from Fox and Willow Home Decor, steaks and beef sausages from Codiak Acres. In fact you can pre order a local product hamper to enjoy during your stay or take home to remember and remind you to book a time to return to Range Road 213.

Roads are paved. We are halfway between, 10 km north of the Trans Canada Yellowhead Highway 16 and Highway 15.
