Good morning!
I just wanted to give an update on how things are progressing on moving into a new commercial space and some changes I’ll be making to the business!

We have secured a new location 🥳 and it’s just down the street from our last!
We are currently in the process of getting a few renovations done to make it the perfect spot, but the end goal is in sight!
My grooming table and grooming tub have also arrived (insert happy dance here)

*If you are looking for grooming appointments, price quotes or have any questions for me please call or text 4034185519 for now rather than through Facebook. Keeping messages in one place for now will help me make sure your message doesn’t go unchecked.

**I will also be implementing a new scheduling service that will send reminders by text and/or email in the near future.

***As of October 1st I will be making price adjustments to my services, and will be posting a price sheet that will be pinned to the top of my page very soon.

****I will be making adjustments to the schedule to accommodate some evening and weekend appointments to help those with longer working shifts.

I sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience and kind words over the last few months, it’s helped make this messy situation feel a lot more manageable. I cannot wait to be back in full swing of things.

This sweet boy is looking for a home, he is about 7 months old, fixed and is completely free!
He would do better as an indoor only cat. He’s been around dogs in passing and typically doesn’t mind, same with cats. With a slow introduction I’m sure he could make friends. Feel free to reach out with any questions!

Hey friends! I just wanted to touch base with everyone.

I’m aware that a lot of messages and phone calls have slipped through the cracks in the last couple months, especially since the building burned down on Main Street, and I do apologize sincerely for this.
I’ve had a few people get upset or call me unprofessional but I want to point out that I am human.
While grooming is my career, I am also a mother of 3 children, an active member of the community and different committees, and a homemaker.
With grooming, I work completely alone, meaning I am also receptionist, intake and pick up, while managing my own life at the same time.
As we move forward getting back into a commercial space and back into proper routine I ask that everyone be as patient as you can with me while we navigate this transition.

Update-all kittens have found homes. Thank you everyone who shared these boys!
With the help of ROAR and my mum, the kittens we’ve been looking after were neutered just over 3 weeks ago. They are now ready to go to forever homes,completely free! All 3 are males and are total love bugs. They’re about 7 months old now. They have never been outdoors so would be best suited for indoor life.
They love kids and are very playful.
They have been around other animals in passing but no close interactions.
They have been on mostly a chicken diet, but I feel they would do better on a fish based food to help with their dander.

April 18th in the early hours of the morning Paradise day spa was lost in a devastating fire here in Rocky. Owner and hairstylist Alicia, hairstylist Kristen and pet groomer Victoria awoke to every business owners nightmare having lost everything they have worked so hard for and built up over the years. The beginning of May would have marked the 20th anniversary of the spa, and this is a tragic loss for all. 💔

As fellow community members and business owners we would like to help get these ladies back to doing business and ease a little bit of the uncertainty. With 20 years of them being an incredible part of our community here in Rocky we want to show them that Rocky is here for them too.

We are organizing a fundraising Silent Auction & BBQ, Bake Sale for May 3rd to be held in the bay next to Rockies and the Rockies Lounge parking lot, from 10am-6:30pm.

We are currently seeking
▪️ Donations for the silent auction.
▪️ Baked items for our bake sale table.
▪️Sponsors for the BBQ.

Any donations big or small are welcome and truly appreciated.

All proceeds raised will go towards helping cover costs of getting a temporary spa open and to help the all girls get back to earning a living, while they wait for everything else to come together eventually.

Unfortunately with the reality of being a small and new business VB Pet Grooming tragically lost everything in the fire, and did not have insurance. May would have marked Victorias first full year in business. Funds from this event will go towards helping her replace all that she has lost and get her working on reaching year two.

In times of hardship communities come together and help put the pieces back together. These ladies have been there to help many of us through hard times and now they need our help.
They have a long road ahead of them as they rebuild and rise from the ashes.

Hello as some of you may heard, the building I have been working in, has burned down.
I will try and get ahold of clients as soon as I am capable, but I have a lot to process.
This does not mean I am done though. VB Pet Grooming will go on and I will keep you updated.
Todays, and tomorrows appointments will be cancelled, but next week remains undetermined.

It’s that time of the year!
Skunk mating season is upon us, and we all know what can happen if your pet gets too close.
If your pet does get sprayed by a skunk, the first thing is to not wet your pet with water, instead you can use either a purchased solution or create your own and lather your pet up before rinsing. Follow up with another shampoo scrub.
If you don’t have the time (or can’t handle the smell) feel free to reach out to me by Facebook or phone and I’ll get the job done for you!
