The CARE Animal Hospital, Ophthalmology Department have scheduled a CERF eye exam clinic that will be taking place on Dec 9, 2023. It will be held at the CARE Centre Animal clinic, 7140 12 St SE, Calgary, AB T2H 2Y4. We will be starting exams as early as 8:30 am.
Please email us at [email protected] with appointment requests and we will schedule your appointment time as requests come in on a first come first serve basis.
We are ONLY able to schedule appointments as requests come in, and we will not be able to schedule appointments for requested times. Please let us know how many dogs you will be bringing and what breeds. Payment will be due day of prior to appointment. You must arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment for dilating drops.
The cost for the eye exams is $50 per dog and gonioscopy is $75 per dog (making sure to request a separate gonioscopy appointment if you are interested in one). You must create an OFA case number for each dog at www.ofa.org . Please forward the case number to CARE by Nov 22, 2023, any numbers submitted later face a risk of losing their appointment time.
If there is not enough interest in this clinic, we will have to cancel the clinic unfortunately, but we will keep everyone updated if that is warranted.
