UPDATE Friday 11th: hi everyone, I apologize for the late update here, to be honest it's not an easy one to make but we wanted to find the right words to acknowledge the full journey. These three babies were sadly not able to be rescued 💔💔💔 Even though there were the beginnings of options, there just wasn't the resources or time logistically to do it. So like many other pound dogs across the country, they couldn't be saved. You can imagine how hard this was on the rescue who tries to save them all ... now times that x10 and you'll get a bit closer to how Michele was feeling 😪... BUT because of these three, because of everyone's sharing and offers of all kinds help, because of the networking that went on behind the scenes between rescues and pound staff, TEN OTHER PUPS have been secured for rescue. So THANK YOU to everyone who reached out, Michele and her team at Angels Animal Sanctuary knew how important it was to reply initially to everyone who got in touch - and they have(with follow up phonecalls still happening). So after the storm, there is a rainbow. 💓 rescue never stop, week after week. So please continue to reach out if you are interested in fostering.
Update 12pm Tuesday 8th: Firstly, thank you so very much to everyone who has messaged both me and Michele at Wandering Angels. Michele is currently working through all modes of contact to reply to everyone _ Thank you everyone_ - she will get back to you all. Everyone has been busy all morning pushing as best we can. As you can imagine the juggling that goes on behind the scenes is immensely humungous, especially when there are multiple individuals needing urgent rescue and there's just no SPACE to hold them and no TIME. The emotional toll of pound rescue is invisible but so humungous. Thank you to everyone who invests despite the uncertainty, I know it can be frustrating and emotional. A special thank you to Animal Fostering Hub NZ who has been an outreached hand today. I will update further when I can.

URGENT FOSTER HOMES NEEDED BY TOMORROW

The sad reality of this post is these pups will be lost tomorrow unless loving families can can put their hand up to offer them a foster home. None have been found for these babies yet.
We know it's a LONG SHOT that 3 amazing foster homes will come through but we have to always try if we get the opportunity to. They are so deseving.
Wandering Angels Animal Sanctuary have NO SPACE at the sanctuary but always desperately want to save those depending on them even though they also know maybe they won't be able to 💔💔💔

North or South Island -dogs can be transported.
Around 6 months old and from the same litte.
Photos are not of exact dogs but these pics are as close as I could find. We are keeping confidence as requested re sharing exact photos of the dogs but actual photos are available upon enquiry.
