Makapuu Lighthouse Trail (paved but hot - go early)
Manoa Falls Trail (muddy but cool)

Safety Notes:

Wild chickens common in park areas
Watch for nene geese near Ho'omaluhia
Some areas flood during heavy rain
Keep dogs leashed near water due to strong currents
