When we experienced the Streetdog-Misery in Bukarest for the first time, we felt only despair strangling our hearts. To become free of despair, a handful of people insisted on hope and action. We are filled with love for mankinds oldest friends - the dogs. Citydogs4Streetdogs' Shelter in Romania takes care of about 130 Streetdogs. Their main caretaker is a wonderful Swiss couple Citydogs4Streetdog

s has sent to Romania to live with our dogs. They are assisted by two great Romanian caretakers. Our dogs and we all thank you for your most welcome contribution!

We LOVE all animals, so let us introduce you to Bebelina, our newest rescue. 😍🐰

Little Bebelina‘s owner died and her 9 siblings were killed and eaten by the owners neighbor. 😭

We managed to rescue Bebelina just in time and she is safe with us now. 🥳

Nelia was born at our shelter, since we were planning to spay her mother when we found her, but she gave birth the day before the spaying campaign. Nelia is an adorable goofy girl, who is curious and would love to explore the world with you. She is social and loves all dogs, cats and people. Therefore she would be a great beginner dog too. We would love to find her a dream home! 😍💖

Alma, now Hazel, was rescued as a little puppy from a a kill shelter in march, now she is living her dream life with her adopters in 🇨🇭.

We are so endlessly grateful that we could save her life and that for her wonderful adopters, who showed her how great life can be. 🥹❤️🥳🙏

😭 NEW RESCUE 😭

This is one of the saddest cases we have ever witnessed, this kitten was brought to us by a villager, with both of her front legs cut off, the wounds were already old and dry, so this must have happened weeks ago. We can’t even comprehend how people can be so horrible! 😓

She is a FIGHTER and has so much will to live, which is why we have decided to operate on her and amputate her front legs, so she is not in pain anymore. 🙏 She will receive prosthesis, once the surgical wounds have healed and she already has a home secured in Germany once she’s all healed up and ready to travel. 🥳🫶

🥳🥹 HAPPY ENDINGS for our OLDIES 🥹🥳

Nema, Nero and Joyana have traveled to their FOREVER HOMES in 🇫🇷. 🙏🥹

Nema has been at the shelter for nearly 12 years and Nero for 14 years. We never gave up hope to find them perfect families, and now all that hope has payed off. 🫶🥰

These 3 Oldies now finally get to celebrate their first Christmas with their very own families 🎄 🥳

TRANSPORT arrived Yesterday 🥳

Our amazing Alice and Bogdan many dogs and cats to their homes and fosters in 🇨🇭🇩🇪🇫🇷🇧🇪.

YAY ❤️👏

The sweet doggie in the first pic is Chippy (now Kira) being given to her owners by Bogdan and in the 2nd is adorable Doris (now Suri) with her wonderful adopter. In the 3rd pic is Phoebe which is so lucky to have finally found a home after 3 years at the shelter. In the last pic is sweet Blanca with her amazing adopter. We are so grateful that they all found wonderful home, every single one is a perfect match. 😍🥹

We are so grateful that we get to change all these lives through the DogroseExpress ❣️🫶

❄️🥶 WINTER FUNDRAISER 🥶❄️

The first snowflakes are falling in Romania. The cold dark season is starting to creep in. We make sure all of our doggies have a warm place to sleep in their little houses, by filling these with straw. This way they can make little nests in the straw and huddle up in the cold. 🙏

But WE need YOUR HELP so puppies like these 2 don’t ever have to fre the cold again 🥺

Amazing autumn day with a class of school kids 🍁🫶

We were visited by a wonderful group of kids from the local american school. They spent the day playing with our puppies and painting tires, which we recycle amd use as plant pots. 😍🐶🎨

🫶 Eugene 🫶

Our animal whisperer and hero. Thanks to him our dogs are all so socialized and loved every day. He helps to prepare all our dogs for adoption and they are like his babies. He is so happy when they find homes, but always misses every single one of them. We are so incredibly grateful for him. 😍🙏
