When we experienced the Streetdog-Misery in Bukarest for the first time, we felt only despair strangling our hearts. To become free of despair, a handful of people insisted on hope and action. We are filled with love for mankinds oldest friends - the dogs. Citydogs4Streetdogs' Shelter in Romania takes care of about 130 Streetdogs. Their main caretaker is a wonderful Swiss couple Citydogs4Streetdog

s has sent to Romania to live with our dogs. They are assisted by two great Romanian caretakers. Our dogs and we all thank you for your most welcome contribution!

Our first TRANSPORT of the year arrived Today 🥳

Our amazing Alice and Bogdan brought so many dogs and cats to their homes and fosters in 🇨🇭🇫🇷🇩🇪.

The sweet doggie in the first pic is Teddy with his wonderful owners and in the 2nd is marvelous little Milagros, who was so lucky to find a home with her wonderful adopters after years at the shelter. In the 3rd pic is Jax, a very playful boy, in the 4th pic Ursa, a big really sweet girl and in the 5th pic there is Bruno, also lovely little boy, they are all so lucky to have found amazing homes. In the last pic is sweet Bliss with her wonderful adopters. We are so grateful that they all found wonderful homes, every single one is a perfect match. 😍🙏🥰

We are so grateful that we get to change all these lives through the DogroseExpress 🌹👏❤️

🥹 Adopt Pongo, our big cuddly puppy 🥹

Our big cuddly puppy Pongo just invited himself into the shelter one morning, when Alice arrived, he slept in front of our door and followed Alice in. He is a big joyful puppy and is really friendly with other dogs and great with cats too. He is super playful and is currently living with DeeDee, who some of you might know. He is a great beginner dog and loves everyone he meets. He would love to have a home, were he can get lots of cuddles. ❤️🥰

Eclipse was born at our shelter, since we were planning to spay her mother when we found her, but she gave birth the day before the spaying campaign. Eclipse is an adorable goofy girl, who is curious and would love to explore the world with you. She is social and loves all dogs, cats and people. Therefore she would be a great beginner dog too.

😁🐾 Testimonial 🐾😁

We adopted our sweet Coco in July 2024, and we can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. From the very first moment, Caroline from The Dog Rose Charity was there for us, walking us through every step of the adoption process with so much care and warmth. She made sure we understood everything we needed to know to welcome our new furry family member. The process was so smooth, transparent, and, most importantly, filled with love — we never once felt rushed or uncertain.

Coco has brought a light into our lives that we never expected. Her gentle nature and inner beauty have completely stolen our hearts, and we feel incredibly blessed to have her by our side. She’s not just a dog; she’s a true part of our family, and her love and joy have already made our lives so much richer. He is an adorable goofy boy, the brother of Avalon and Nelia. He is curious and would love to explore the world with you. He is a social butterfly and loves all dogs, cats and people. Therefore he would be a great beginner dog too. We would love to find him his dream home together! 😍🫶

What can you see in this picture? 🧐

Dogs, lots of dogs, and a woman, but these aren’t just any dogs, and this isn’t just any woman. These are dogs who used to live on the streets, alone, abandoned, and scared. But their lives changed in the last 4 years, from misery to victory. They have found loving homes, and won the greatest gift of all —LOVE. ❤️

The woman in the picture is one member of our team who has made this possible, our head of adoptions, Caroline. Her passion is changing the lives of these dogs for the better and she does this with all her heart. 🫶

We are so grateful that we were able to change the lives of all of these dogs, and hope to change many more in the future. 💪

We also want to thank our kind-hearted adopters who gave all these dogs a second chance at life. 🙏

Every day, we take care of over 200 dogs and 40 cats both at our shelter and on the streets and make sure they are all happy and healthy, this is not an easy task, but with your help, we can continue making a difference to these animals lives. 🤩

We LOVE all animals, so let us introduce you to Bebelina, our newest rescue. 😍🐰

Little Bebelina‘s owner died and her 9 siblings were killed and eaten by the owners neighbor. 😭

We managed to rescue Bebelina just in time and she is safe with us now. 🥳

✨ Before and After ✨

Alma, now Hazel, was rescued as a little puppy from a a kill shelter in march, now she is living her dream life with her adopters in 🇨🇭.

We are so endlessly grateful that we could save her life and that for her wonderful adopters, who showed her how great life can be. 🥹❤️🥳🙏
