Providing cat care whilst you take a pause from Luzern/Zug/Zurich or beyond. My Name is Suzie. I have found a bit of purpose for myself here through cat sitting.

I am a 35 year old female and mother to a siberian male cat called Pompuss. I know how much he loves attention and understand how it can sometimes be a worry whether your beloved pet is OK whilst you are away. I was previously a healthcare professional in the UK and my husband and I moved to Switzerland for his job in the autumn of 2023. I'd love to help more, so should you be local, need to take

a 'pause from Zug', and your own cat needs feeding or some company, I hope I can help. Please get in touch about your needs. Please note, I am unable to take other cats into our own home, but I am happy to stay for a number of hours at yours, to water house plants, or house sit if required and my personal availability allows. Dear fellow Zug Paws,

It’s been a pleasure looking after some wonderful pets this past year 🐾 Thank you to all of those that have used me in this time ♥️

We are now moving to Luzern, and whilst I have considered whether to change my name and platform, for now I have decided to keep things the same until I know where we will be longer term (the joy of trying to find affordable, pet friendly, furnished accommodations!). I plan to continue Paws from Zug in Luzern for the next year, and be open to visiting new clients there - please do share if you know anyone in Luzern.

I will also remain open to opportunities in Zug, Zurich and wider areas, when possible. Though home + cat sittings may be preferable to avoid higher charges given the travel.

A wonderful review given for me to share: "Suzie did a wonderful job caring for our 3 year old Cavoodle for 3 weeks over the 24/25 New Year period. She took him for many long walks during the snowy Zurich winter, including new areas for him to explore, and ensured he remained healthy, clean and well fed. She also kept our apartment in excellent condition and kept us regularly updated with texts and photos while we were on the other side of the world."

A belated happy new year to my fellow Zugers and Zug paws 🐾 It's been a while since I last posted on here, so it's time for an update.

Over Christmas and new year I did something a little different - I looked after a dog for 3 weeks in Zurich. I house sat and my own Pom (cat) was allowed to join too. The dog was an energetic and very friendly Cavoodle. He enjoyed cuddles and was a great reason to get out for walks each day. He even loved to give Pom licks and it felt like a bit of a bromance developed between them both. This experience has given me the confidence to change my offerings in Zug a little - From 2025, I am happy to widen my net of help to those who might need dog walks for any of their friendly, small or medium sized dogs 🐕🐩🦮🐕‍🦺Given I am currently doing some studying, I feel its even more important to get out each day for some fresh air, so what better encouragement than a dog walk. I am of course still offering cat sitting too - currently I am looking after an absolutely gorgeous girl 🐈

Julia: Thanks to Suzie, I knew that my two cats Ume&Mugi were in safe hands, and I didn't have to worry at all while being away. She not only took care of the basics, but also provided them with love and cuddles. Communication with Suzie was very easy and I especially appreciated that she sent me photos of Ume&Mugi to keep me updated. She's a wonderful, trustworthy and lovely cat-sitter!

I received this lovely review from Julia. Unfortunately she does not have Facebook so I am sharing her message. I absolutely fell in love with these two cats during the 10 days I looked after them. They were incredibly friendly and we enjoyed many a cuddle. This job was a little out from where we live but Julia kindly allowed us to use her space to maximise the time I had with the cats. My husband would drive us daily and whilst he worked, I spent half days to look after Ume & Mugi, watered the plants, took out bins, and did some hoovering.
