About Us

We (Albert and Haley Gongwer) are both from Wakarusa, Indiana and both graduated from Northwood High school and Bethel College. Albert is a biology teacher and football/track coach at Mishawaka high school, and Haley is a registered nurse at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center on the mother/baby unit. We got married in June of 2017 and recently bought a fixer upper house in Osceola that we are currently renovating with the help of Albert's dad. Although this is our 1st time breeding dogs together, we both bring experience to the table as we both come from families who have been breeders. Albert’s parents have bred German/King shepherds and Haley's parents have bred chocolate labs, shih tzus, cava-poos, and currently breed golden retrievers (Sonrise Goldens). We knew we would want a dog or two, so we did a lot of research on what kind of dogs would best fit us (biology teachers have no problem doing research!) and we landed with the mini-aussie and have had no regrets with our choice! If you haven't noticed, we also love Marvel, so both of our dogs and all of our puppies are named after Marvel characters (Odin is the father of Thor, Pepper Potts is Iron Man's wife). Obviously you will be able to name your puppy whatever you want, we just enjoy naming them after super heroes! Finally, we are not a puppy mill. We don't breed our dogs just to make money, we do it because we love it, we love our dogs and we want to share the joy of owning high quality dogs with others. We put most (if not all) of the money from our puppies right back into our dogs. For example, we plan to build a quality fence for Odin and Pepper with the money from this litter, along with paying for vet bills, food and toys. We also have no intentions of selling Pepper or Odin when they can no longer be bred. They are our pets first, and breeding dogs second. We hope you enjoy your new puppy, and keep us in mind in the future when you want to expand your family with furry friends!

Each puppy has their tail docked to breed standard, has their dew claws removed, and will be up to date on their shots (including dewormer). We would love for you to schedule a time to come check out all these cuties in person! Just contact us via facebook, text, call, or email and we can schedule a time. If you pick out a puppy before they are old enough to go home with you (8 weeks old) we ask for a $200 deposit and then the remainder of the payment can be made when you take them home. Each puppy will be sent home with a registration form if you wish to register them through the American Stock Dog Registry (ASDR), a vaccination record, and a bag of the puppy food we have been feeding them. If purchasing a female that you wish to breed in the future, we will charge a “breeding rights” fee of $200.
