We are flying these 5 lucky dogs from Costa Rica to America on Sunday, March 24th and we need local fosters. If you are interested in being part of this amazing Foxy and the Hounds international rescue, and live in the West San Fernando Valley or surrounding areas, please email [email protected] for a foster application. If you are already a Foxy foster and are interested, please let us know! Fosters also have first rights to adopt the dog they foster!
Foxy and the Hounds visited Costa Rica Dog Rescue a few months ago and we absolutely fell in love with their rescue and their dogs. Most had been dumped on the streets, came in injured, sick, abandoned, or unsocialized. Scott is the founder of this incredible rescue and he is amazing. Foxy and the Hounds knew we wanted to help and so I reached out to Eldad from Hope For Paws who had introduced me to Scott. He generously offered to pay the airfare to get the dogs to Los Angeles. Wow… 3 Rescues working together… that is pure magic and 5 very lucky dogs! Scott has made all the arrangements and has taken care of all the paperwork to send these dogs to us on March 24th and then he will have room to rescue even more!
All the dogs coming are boys and are happy, friendly, social, and get along with other dogs! These dogs are fantastic and we can’t wait to find them their perfect forever homes!
JIMMY - 8 years old, 28 lbs, sweet, mellow and affectionate
PILOT - 2 years old, 38 lbs, playful, fun and loving
SCAR - 4 year old, 39 lbs, calm, sweet and affectionate
DOTS - 1 1/2 year old, 24 lbs, energenic, active and loving
TICO - 3 year old, 10 lbs, sweet, reserved and affectionate
