I'm Reeny Karasapan and I have been coming to Nosara for the past six years. I started house sitting and pet sitting five years ago and have never looked back. I post schedules as much as I can as a way for everyone to see availabilities to make each season easier! I created this page to help stay organized and to give you an opportunity to connect with me. I spend most of my time quietly at home

writing or on the beach surfing. I keep to myself and keep your house clean and as safe as it can be. I specialize in young dogs or dogs with a lot of energy. Dogs who love the beach or love to run around, dogs who love love. I take the dogs who wouldn't get much out of multiple dog boarding or big group walks. My rates vary depending on the amount of energy required for your animal, if there is a house, size of garden and length of time you are away. Many factors contribute to pricing and what you need taken care of. I want to be able to help everyone at every walk of life. Please contact me year round with inquiries and I will respond as quickly as possible. I usually spend the holiday season/high season working in Canada but I am always ready to start taking on houses and pets as early as February. Due to Covid, I am around year round. The longer you need me the better the rates tend to be.

✨ thank you everyone who has let me and continues to let me love their pets. i have so much gratitude for each of you and have exciting things coming! ✨

being a petsitter has been a dream come true. i never knew what direction my life would take but every time i got lost and i needed to connect to myself it was always through animals and nature.

i’ve been living in and out of costa rica for 12 years. splitting my time writing and back and forth to canada working at victoria’s secret, surf ontario and doing promotional modeling for 4-8months a year so i could afford to spend the rest of the time in costa rica.

i started watching pets in exchange for a place to stay. i would take on the longest trips first — people gone 1-4months at a time so i could reduce the amount i’d have to move. i always packed light enough to fit my life on a 250cc quad or a backpack before that.

i wanted to be able to offer the pet care that i would seek. i am very protective of my pets and who i trust them with. the longer your guidebook the more i love you, because i am the same.

i started forging bonds with pet owners and their pets and committed to the same people routinely so they and their pets always knew the vibe. i got to become a part of their pets lives and love them all so much.

i’ve watched pets as puppies and seen them through old age here, i’ve even been around for some when it came to say goodbye and still cherish my memories and photos.

it is such an honor to be trusted with your most loved companions and be able to grow with them.

i started this journey on a whim and it’s grown so much, in a way that i feel it was always the only thing i could ever wind up doing with so much love everyday.

i am very excited to launch my next steps in pet care. i am taking my due diligence to make sure i dot all the i’s and cross all those legal t’s. i want to do everything by the books and be able to give back to this beautiful country i’ve fallen in love with and call home 🇨🇷.
