Pasha Adoption & Rehabilitation Centre is a U.K. non-profit animal rescue saving strays in Serbia. Pasha A.R.C.

was established in February 2022 by Vucjak Shelter’s Adoption Team as a pilot project to facilitate the rehabilitation and adoption of special-need dogs and provide palliative care for critically ill animals that would otherwise struggle in a shelter environment. Our modest facility is located across the hall from our vet's office in Belgrade. We offer a spay/neuter program, comprehensive vet care

, and adoption services in Serbia and abroad. Currently, there are 14 dogs and 2 cats being cared for at the Centre. Thanks to our staff’s skilled handling and training, all our adoptable animals are well-adjusted and friendly with dogs, cats and humans. As a foster-based rescue, we focus on placing our animals in secure, caring foster homes once they are rehabilitated and ready for adoption. We are dedicated to building a coalition of rescue-minded individuals and organizations across Europe, the United States and Canada so that together, we can save more at-risk stray animals in Serbia. SILJA "Goofy"

FOSTER / ADOPTER NEEDED‼️Our favorite funny boy, Silja / Goofy🥰 Silja, is a small Male mix breed only 17 kg born May 22, 2022 Neutered and loves cats, kids, dogs, people, he just loves life.

There was nothing wrong with Silja when we found him. He had tags, so we contacted the owner. Their response "We threw him out because he peed on the floor"🤬 HE WAS 12 WEEKS OLD !!

He is a perfect boy for any family. So gentle, never bossy, loves hugs and loves playing. He's been at all his life. It's time for a family and he is ready to travel IMMEDIATELY 🐾🛩

Update on Zivadin

This sweet eight year old boy was diagnosed with cancer of the lungs; a tumor above his eye; heartworm; chronic ear infection; he has anaplasmosis, a tickbourne disease; and he's been shot with a BB gun or air rifle over a dozen times. He is staying at where he will receive around the clock medical attention.

Zivadin is being treated with 'alternative medicine'. This liquid is made from a natural bulb found in the woodlands of Eastern Europe, which is known for its healing properties of cancer and other ailments. He is taking strong antibiotics, heartworm meds, and pain medication.

Our Vet is waiting for the results of the biopsies and other tests before he can address the cancer and the multiple bullets in his face and body.

In his current condition, all we can do is make Zivadin comfortable, safe, warm, and pain-free. We will provide Zivadin with a better quality of life so he can experience the love and kindness he deserves.

Zivadin enjoys his food and has a healthy appetite; and the Pasha ARC pack has welcomed him lovingly

Nela is a female Rottweiler She arrived at Pasha's ARC in July 2022. She was treated for distemper, kidney issues, and pyometra. She became a healthy dog. Unfortunately, three weeks ago a tumor was found inside her ear. On October 26, Nela went into sergury, and the tumor was removed. It is melanoma, and cancer has mestatized. Nela is doing so much better. HER STORY Stray cat Female Aprox 2 years old Rescued Oct 31/2024 She was attacked by dogs but got away. She was almost dead when she was found. It took more than 6 hours to get her body temperature up to normal (it was below 32c). She has an injured stomach and needs to be operated on in order to put her intestine back in place. Similar to a human hernia, where the stomach organs are pushed off the wall of the stomach cavity. Sweet Nela🙏 We had no idea when we started @PashaARC project how much heartbreak we would endure💔 People would say, "What did you expect, treating the most critical animals." We thought, once we get these sweet souls through the initial problem, everything would be okay. They can live happily ever after, but no .... some other storm arises, and this poor dog is in crisis again‼️😪 Nela will be in surgery to have the tumor removed from her ear, and sent for biopsy.
