Lovely afternoon judging this event. All the dogs and owners were winners. Some of the stories in the best rescue class were heartbreaking, however the winner was Scooby who walks round with three air rifle pellets inside him. Congratulations to all involved and Susan Bettney for arranging it

We are moving our beach walks from a Saturday morning to a Monday evening, still at Vasillia Beach. I told everybody last week it would be 6pm but I feel that might be a bit late for the light so until the clocks change we will meet up at 5.30pm. I'm very sorry about this but unfortunately I have Jeep Safari's booked for future Saturdays

We will be walking as normal at 11am on Saturday. This will be the last Saturday walk for now and will be moving to an evening stroll after this. We will discuss what evening suits you on the walk.

The elderly owner is desperately trying to find a home for this sweet little girl. She is being bullied and attacked by her other dogs. I had her at my place last week when owner was in hospital. Would suit being only dog and a garden as she is not keen on going out for a walk. All she wants is cuddles and love. She gets on with other non aggressive dogs and seems OK with cats.
I try not to get involved with rehoming but this is a special case for a sweet dog I can vouch for

We are pleased to say we will be doing a socialisation class at Tolga's Karsyiaka ( next to Jessics on the main road) on Wednesday 16th Feb at 1600. This is not just for the dogs but owners can come down and meet us and discuss all things doggie. We will be there until 1800hrs. Our one to one training is now getting underway and we are trying to get round to everybody asap. Please contact us for more information.
Finally our beach walks at Vasilia Beach (Saturdays 11am) have turned into a lovely social group (dogs and people!), so if you have a friendly dog please join us. For those a bit worried about there dogs being reactive with others we will be doing a second walk at 1230 on Saturdays where we will use long lines to allow the dogs some freedom.and help with control.

Good news, we are now in a position to start home visits/ training from next week. If you require our help please contact us on 0533 881 8993 Our Saturday walks at Vasilia will continue at 11am and if we get enough interest our socialising classes will start again in both Bahçeli and Karsyiaka. These classes depend on interest shown so if you want them.please let us know

This beautiful 9 year old huskey called Blue is looking for a new home due to his owners change in circumstances. Superb temperament, loves cats and good with other dogs. He is strong though so needs a fit person to keep him in check whilst on the lead.

Our charity Boxing day swim for the Freedom Dog Sanctuary rescue and adoption TRNC. Raised over 11000tl with donations stillcoming in. Thank you all so much for supporting this event.
Our socialising walk at Vasilia Beach will resume this Saturday at the slightly later time of 11am. Come and join us and blow those Christmas cobwebs away.

We want to wish all our customers and friends a happy and safe New Year and thank you for your support throughout 2021.
We will not be walking tomorrow (New Years Day) due to weather and me only having an open top landrover this weekend. We will resume next Saturday ('7th January)
Finally thank you to everybody who supported our Boxing Day swim in aid of the Freedom Dog Sanctuary rescue and adoption TRNC. We raised at least 8000tl with donations still coming in

This gorgeous little girl was found dumped in a bin yesterday. She was taken home by one of our group members but they can't keep her. She has been to Garfields and wormed and will have her jabs on Monday. She has an injured leg but is more of a sprain. The Freedom Santuary will take her in a week after she has had her jabs. We are desperately looking for a foster home for the next week. She will need plenty of bed rest for her leg. She is approximately 2 months old and very loving. Contact us if you can help.

Yes it's true. Five old men are going for a "swim for the doggies" on Boxing day. Our normal Saturday Beach Walk will take place on Boxing Day Sunday. This will be followed by myself, and four other old men risking all by going for a swim. So for a Boxing Day laugh join us at Vasilia Beach Bar. Dog walk 10am Swim 11am. If your brave enough get sponsored and join us.

Lovely little Socialising Class at Ozzies Bar this evening. We decided it would be nice to give the dogs a good run. So on Saturday we will be meeting at Vasilia Beach Bar Karsiyaka at 10am to let the dogs run together on the beach. Please come along and support us. Once the walk has finished we will partake on Beveridges of your choice in the garden.

Due to the evenings drawing in I will be cancelling our Thursday evening dog walks. I will try and rearrange them for weekend day walks starting in a fortnight. I am also trying to sort out a venue for our evening socialising classes on the West of the Island. Watch this space!
