This is the stop Gaynor calls the travel agent, it has now been closed, and being potentially hazardous for them the cats have been relocated with Andy the volunteer πŸ™πŸ»
The pictures of the building work going on from Gaynor don’t really do the site justice. It is literally a big hole in the ground now. πŸ˜₯πŸˆβ€β¬›πŸˆπŸΎ

is an opportunity to champion feral cats – individual cats who live life on their own terms. 🐈 Feral cats are not strays. They don’t want to be pets. They are part of the rich spectrum of cats that share our world.

Supporting feral cats means πŸ‘‡

🐾 Respecting their autonomy – they live solitary, independent lives, hunting for survival and are well-adapted to outdoor life and keeping their distance from people.

🐾 Prioritising neutering and ensuring humane management – supporting them effectively and humanely with strategic TNVR (Trap Neuter Vaccinate Return) initiatives to prevent future litters and that respect their lifestyle.

🐾 Making careful decisions about containment – confining a feral cat should be avoided except for brief periods, when necessary, such as for neutering.

Hi everyone this is a message we have received, can anyone assist or knows of people/groups who can?

Hello Gaynor,

I need some advice.

Background info: I currently maintain three colonies of stray cats in my nearby vicinity. They are all neutered.

My apartment block has been sold, and I vacate my own apartment in mid-November. There is a strong probability that I shall leave this area of Paphos or leave Cyprus entirely.

I have been successful in finding someone to carry on with feeding for two colonies but not the group here at my apartment block. These total about 16.

I am thinking that any kind of forced relocation to another apartment would not be successful as the animals would not adjust or simply run away or attempt to return to the current location.

All in all, I don’t know what to do. Could you offer any suggestions?

the address is Agapinoros Strret, postcode 8049.
