-14°C and Mira in her new pajamas she got some days ago 😇 this year she seems to struggle with the sudden temperature changes. Even thoug her fur looks nice, they have enough hay and I made removed lumps of snow from their coats so they can fulfill their natural function properly, she was shivering in the first cold morning.
Being almost 19 maybe she is just becoming an older lady 🤍 so it seems we will need to use blankets from now on to keep her comfy 🤍

We had such a beautiful Springer weather during my days off...it really charged my batteries after the wet muddy season 🙂 now feel ready again for the winter to continue since it is needed ❄️☃️

Mira imprisoned due to some dermatitis going on on all her legs 🧐
Since it's all wet and muddy she needs to be kept in dry area, so a half of the shelter has been her home for a week now.
She gets some walking time every day before I wash her feet and put the ointment on, which I do twice a day.
So hope it all heals soon and never comes back 🙏

Fiona's second encounter with pulling, now with a human test subject 😀
We did the frst session in our arena to see what her reaction to the harness and stuff tingling around her feer is, she had no issue with that at all 🙂 so we added the sledge and tried walking, she was a bit curious as to what is following her, but the rewards she was receiving were far more interresting 😀
Since she did so great we decided to do a short trial outdoor including the human payload and it was a success ❤
So maybe this will be something she likes and where she can utilize her energy since the two old dumplings she lives with are no fun 😀

A bit of training in the dark in front of our house, sice the training arena was still muddy 🙂 it now froze a bit so looking forward to go back there before it melts again.
Algie has been more energetic and emotional in the cold weather so we have gone back to relaxation training with a bit of stretching 🙂

The days are getting waay to short now 😁 I thought there was a time for a short walk but the daylight disappeared with a blink of an eye ☻️ but Mira is a great gal and she had no problem with a bit of darkness 🤍
