Micro Red shiso greens are very small in size, averaging 5-7 centimeters in length. However, we grow them bigger than their micro size if asked for it.

Micro Red shiso is crisp, initially earthy and sweet, but then develops into a spicy and pungent flavor with hints of cumin, basil, anise, and spearmint.

Note: On the photo, shiso is around 40 days old.

Why to eat Pea Shoots?

Pea shoots are a great source of three chemoprotective agents: folate, antioxidants, and carotene. Folate helps produce and maintain cells and protects against DNA damage. Antioxidants help the body fight free radical damage, commonly associated with high cancer risk.

How to eat?

You can eat pea shoots raw in a fresh salad; they can take the place of the more traditional lettuce or simply enhance it with pea shoot's spring flavor. You can stir fry them with sesame oil and garlic, as has long been done in Asian cooking.

Graced with a nutty flavor and a crunchy texture, sunflower microgreens are nothing short of awesome in sandwiches, soups, salads, scrambled eggs, and wraps. Both the leaves and the stems are edible. In this gardener's opinion, sunflower shoots are the finest of all the microgreens.

Why to eat Radish (Red Rubin) Microgreens?

Contains vitamins A, B, C, E and K. Also rich in Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Zinc Amino Acids, Sodium. During sprouting, minerals, such as calcium and magnesium, bind to protein, making them more bioavailable.

How to eat?

Red Rubin microgreens have heart shaped leaves and delicate pale pink stems. Radish sprouts have a crisp, succulent texture and a spicy flavour with a mild sweetness. Put radish microgreens on a burger and enjoy a more flavorful, crunchy, topping than regular lettuce. Their small size also makes them a great raw garnish to dishes that can benefit from a peppery element.
