Shaggy "Der Verrückte Hund" Shaggy, "Der Verrückte Hund" (the crazy dog), is a rescue dog from Russia. He came to Germany to find his forever home with a Chilean Dad and American Mom.

Life is good as a spoiled furbaby! I love taking long walks at night when the streets are quiet and empty. I can sniff all the fence and lamp posts in peace. I enjoy napping and playing with my squeaky toys. I love to tease mom and dad, getting them to throw my toy thinking I will go get it and fetch it back to them only to run and dive under the bed.

Please think good thoughts for our boy. We took him in for his regular checkup and shots and it looks like now on top of his severe allergies he is having heart issues. Nothing major at this point, thank God, but now he has daily pills to deal with. We are so glad that if he was going to have these kinds of health issues in his life that he ended up with us. We will keep doing everything we can to give him a long, happy, and as healthy of a life as we can give him. He is our baby! ❤️🐶❤️

With temps getting hot enough to burn paws and we live in the city with no yard, mom bought me shoes so my paws don’t get burned. She only makes me wear the during the hot part of the day. Mornings and evenings are still barefoot time. 🐶❤️
