More Shared Love🥰🐶
Another wonderful outcome from our amazing Work SMART Not Hard community!🥰
Jason Cheetham will travel shortly, from the Pyrenees to near Berlin. To visit Nicole Hinds and I.
But importantly, he will be collecting his new soul-mate, and cuddle buddy, Alice.
I have for a long time, promised Alice, who currently lives in our shelter, that she will spend her winters where she belongs:
On a sofa. In front of a fire. Getting lots of cuddles.🐶🥰✨
In two weeks time, her dreams will come true!✨🙌🥰
Our first rescue was called Rila (after the Bulgarian mountains we found her in)
We named our rescue charity Rilas Dream, because I made her the same promise, which came true 🥰
That was 1500 dogs or so ago, and I still get the same joy, knowing Alice will also get to live her dreams.
I say this all the time.
But the joy I feel in these moments is immense.
We do rescue dogs.
But they truly, TRULY, rescue me 🐶🥰✨

Hadrena, einer unserer Pflege-Mamas, hat ihn gestern auf einem abgelegenen Parkplatz durch Zufall gefunden. Unter dem zotteligen Fell ist er nur Haut und Knochen. Schätzungsweise ist er 4-6 Monate alt.
Jetzt müssen wir ihn aufpäppeln und dann reisefertig machen.

How it all began...
This is Rila
Rila was the first street dog that we rescued.
We found her at the side of a busy road in Bulgaria, cold hungry and scared. As dog lovers, we had to do something for her, so after she had been treated and registered in Bulgaria, we brought her back to Germany with us, where she became one of our family.
Sadly, as a result of a house fire, Rila was takenfrom us.Rila brought so much love and happiness into our lives that when we decided to set up our dog rescue charity, we named it after her.
Since 2013, Rila’s Dream and our friends have rescued, cared for, neutered and re-homed hundreds of street dogs.
