Animonda成立於1991年，是德國Heristo AG集團公司旗下的子公司。Heristo AG集團公司歷史悠久，成立於1913年，由最初的屠宰場發展成為現在的國際集團，是德國食品市場的領導者。

作為食品集團的子公司，Animonda認為寵物同人類一樣，應該享受到健康營養高水準的食物。因此，Animonda堅持一切從寵物的健康出發，根據寵物各個不同年齡階段、體重、活動量及口味喜好，研製開發出滿足寵物需求的全面營養食品，讓寵物享受健康快樂的生活。
