Nordisk Konservatorforbund Danmark En interesseorganisation for konservatorer i Danmark. Foreningens formål er at fremme kendskabet ti Nordisk Konservatorforbund blev dannet i 1950. E.C.C.O.

Nordisk Konservatorforbund Danmark er en interesseorganisation for konserverings- og restaureringsfagligt personale i Danmark. Da der dengang kun var få konservatorer, faldt det naturligt at organisere sig i et forbund i nordisk regi. Der er på den baggrund dannet selvstændige foreninger/sektioner i alle fem nordiske lande, som er samlet i et forbund, der afholder nogle få fælles aktiviteter som b

ladet Meddelelser om konservering. Nordisk Konservatorforbund er også koordinerende for forbundets kongresser og videreuddannelseskurser, men den egentlige planlægning og afholdelse går på skift mellem sektionerne i de enkelte lande. NKF-dk er den danske sektion eller afdeling. Foreningen er medlem af sammenslutningen af europæiske konservator-forbund E.C.C.O. (European Confederation of Conservator-Restorers' Organisations)

Forbundsråd
Foreningen er sammen med søsterorganisationerne i de øvrige nordiske lande samlet i Nordisk Konservatorforbund - som udgiver medlemsbladet "Meddelelser om Konservering". Forbundsrådet er foreningens øverste organ, og forbundsråds-ordførerposten går på skift landene i mellem for en treårs periode. Du kan læse mere om organiseringen af Nordisk Konservatorforbund her:

It has been a day to be inspired on what we can do to have a more sustainable practice both in knowledge of environmental impacts, inclusion of artist and volunteers and in what materials we use in packing and in conservation. The keynote speaker and speakers has been presenting under 2 topics; Resources & Sustainability and Co-creation & Collaboration.

It was so nice to see some of the lovely people atending the congress last night and to be inspired by Boris B. Bertram´s poetic film "the human shelter".

We are proud to share with you our keynote speakers Kim Kraczon and Suzie Thomas.

Kraczon is a conservator of modern materials and contemporary art specializing in sustainable practices in the art sector. Her area of expertise and primary focus in the field of sustainability is mitigating the environmental burden of materials and methods in conservation, art production, exhibition-making, and fine arts shipping.

Thomas is a Professor of Heritage Studies at the University of Antwerp, Belgium. She teaches on subjects such as participatory approaches in heritage work, 'dark' heritage, public archaeology and heritage crime, to students in Heritage Studies and in Conservation and Restoration. Her research interests focus on the work and ontologies of Heritage Practice Communities, and on the heritagisation processes associated with sites of violence and trauma
