Want your business to be the top-listed Pet Store/pet Service?
In 2000 (at age 5), my Grandparents got me two little bunnies for Easter. They took me to the Cottage Grove Western Oregon Expo and let me experience showing them for the first time! I didn’t know anything about rabbits, but the other kids and leaders welcomed me and taught me so much! After that first year, I joined 4-H and kept showing my rabbits every year until Senior Graduation. Those first years were vital to my love for rabbits but also with my love for 4-H and showing with some really great people and animals!
Since Graduation, I’ve moved up to Judging cavies/rabbits/chickens/pigs, to being a cavy/rabbit 4-H Leader, to becoming the South Lane 4-H Coordinator, until now where I am the Livestock barn Superintendent for the very family fair that started it all! Except now, I get to watch my own kids grow up raising and showing in the very same barns (if you see me getting emotional at fair, now you know why!). I am so excited for them to learn so much and to build relationships that last a lifetime with fellow exhibitors! It truly is something that everyone can be a part of and I really recommend that everyone give it a try with these precious little rabbits. It is a life changer in the best way possible!
