😍 We'd like to tell you an unusual and heartwarming story of two best friends: Seven, a beagle, and Chewie, a sloth.

☝️ An ordinary sloth might be wary of dogs, but not Chewie. This story took place in Venezuela. Chewie, the sloth, had an accident and received an electric shock, but thanks to the help of the local veterinarians, he survived.

😥 However, he lost three of his claws in the process. It was not safe for him to return to the wild without claws, so he was taken in by the female beagle owner.

👉 At first, Seven, the beagle, was not allowed near Chewie because he was still very weak. But as time went on, Chewie became accustomed to Seven and even started to like him.

🤗 Since then, they have spent a lot of time together, enjoying each other's company.

🐶 Not all dogs are good swimmers. There are certain breeds whose physical characteristics do not allow you to feel confident in the water 🌊

1️⃣ Bulldogs. Both English and French, like all brachycephalic breeds, do not have the natural data to be good swimmers. Because of the flat muzzle, water gets into the nose too easily – the dog can drown. A dense body and short paws make it difficult to stay afloat.

2️⃣ Corgi. These pets are very fond of water. However, it is better to bathe them in shallow water or in a children's pool – it is impossible to row with such short paws.

3️⃣ Basset Hound. A large head and short legs do not allow you to keep your muzzle above water. Another problem is very long ears.

4️⃣ Pug. Due to the flattened muzzle, short and dense body, and small paws, the animal cannot stay in the water for a long time without feeling the bottom.

5️⃣ Chihuahua. A miniature pet quickly gets tired of rowing, and because of the short coat, it quickly gets supercooled.

6️⃣ Dachshund. It is not suitable for swimming because of its too short legs and disproportionately long body.

7️⃣ Chow-chow. A short muzzle with many folds quickly provokes shortness of breath. The lush dense wool, getting wet, becomes heavy and begins to pull down.

𝄞⨾𓍢ִ໋ James Bowen was in a tough spot - no home, no family, no money. He made a living playing music on the streets of London, but one day he met a red cat with an injured paw.

💊 James spent the last of his money on treating the cat, and Ginger was so thankful that he wouldn't leave James' side. Together, they started performing. Ginger was named Bob after the character from Twin Peaks.

🐈 And during James' shows, Bob sat patiently next to him with a brightly colored scarf, attracting all the attention. Bob even collected a whole collection of scarves!James realized his responsibility towards a living being and got rid of his bad habits.

📖 Then he wrote a book called "A Street Cat Named Bob". The book sold over a million copies in the UK alone and has been translated into nearly 40 different languages. Later, they made a movie based on the book that won the British National Film Award for Best British Film.

🏡 The red cat lived a happy life with James and they even bought a house together. They traveled to different countries and met with readers and fans. Sadly, the cat passed away at 14 years old in 2020.

😢 Now, James is raising money to put up a statue in honor of his friend, the street cat, Bob.
