These days the puppies are visiting new places and starting basic puppy training. Sometimes we bring just one or two, sometimes we bring all.
Like this trip to the fields and the beach! It was great to see all puppies exploring and being excited about a new environment (this one with lots of game smells!). Especially interesting is the way the puppies explore "spaniel-like" in zigzags around our feet. Always close!
We also took the chance to train a bit of recall which progressing very nicely! Enya and Freya being the superstars at recall this day 👏👏💪

Ginnie is studying the ducks at the local pond 🦆🦆
Its been raining cats and dogs for weeks now in Denmark, but today finally the grass was dry and the sun was out so we invited the puppies outside to the garden for the first time.
All of the puppies thought it was amazing and bravely went forth to explore their new world! We are used to there being clear differences in who is more brave and who is more cautious, but in this case the whole litter was very evenly curious. No one thought the new big outdoors was scary - which we are very happy about!
Today we upgraded the swing to an even bigger one!!
We like to give the puppies a lot of different things to interact with and play with during these early weeks. What becomes normal now (like stuff moving under my feet) will last a lifetime!
At this ages its all about introducing different things, sounds, materials etc that they can use their senses to explore. We evwn introduce them to the other dogs in the house and let them have positive interactions.
Later, when they are older, the focus changes to new environments and introducing them gently to a variaty of situations (people, animals, smells, noises etc) outside of the home.
People sometimes get disappointed when we deliver the puppies and they don't even know how to sit when asked. Well, anyone can train a dog to sit. Why should I as a breeder prioritise my time teacjing the dog stuff you can easily teach it yourself? Instead, I should focus on building the dogs perception of normal life to be so wide and varied that the transition to the new home will go as smooth as possible. Because THAT you cannot teach after the delivery.

Some puppies are still searching for their next adventure and place to call home.
We give the puppies many opportunities to play and learn at the same time. These small games with bottles with small rocks in the is one of the games we play to prevent noise-sensitivity and noise fears. By allowing the puppy to himself make the noise, he is in control of the noise making and by that much braver. This also gives us info as breeders how they react to noise and so far all of the puppies have been real noise makers 💪

Today, we did some blood tracking with the girls.
Cola, as usual, did things her own way. When she came off track a little, she took the shortest route back - always following her nose. That results in some pretty funny moments like this one!
Other dogs would have jumped over or gone around. Not Cola, through is the shortest way and where she caught the scent, so through she went 😆
Tequila had a blast in the water!!
The fun factor is MAX and there simply is no wait left in this girl 😆
