With every sale, we will donate a portion of your purchases to help the stray animals in our communities.
We’ve been working with our stray animal communities for years now and want to include you on this mission!
Shelters in Egypt are overcrowded and stray populations exponentially increase in size without human intervention. Having healthy animal communities on our streets is important to us and we believe that it’s best to tackle the root of this issue. That is why Nooshi’s will be supporting TNR in various communities. We will start with the Maadi community as its where we are located and our goal is to expand our support to other urban communities.
TNR alongside rigorous adoption initiatives are proven to be the only long-term solution to humanely control community animal populations.
Stay tuned this week for more information about the process of TNR.

Rawhide is made from the inner layer or cow or horse hide and is the by-product from the leather industry.
These are cleaned and de-haired using chemicals and then bleached, often this includes the use of chemicals such as hydrogen peroxide and sodium sulphate.
Once cleaned the hide is made to look pretty by cutting and rolling it into shapes which are glued together.
🔸As with pet toys, rawhide chews can contain trace amounts of toxic chemicals. And, as with other pet (or human) foods, Salmonella or E. coli contamination is possible. Even humans can be at risk when coming into contact with these bacteria on rawhide treats.
🔸Some dogs are simply sensitive or allergic to rawhide or other substances used in their manufacture. This can cause problems, including diarrhea.
Choking or blockages. Rawhide bones and other edible chews can pose a choking and blockage risk. In fact, this is a much bigger risk than contamination or digestive irritation.
What can I give my dog instead?
Thankfully there are a number of safer, healthier and tastier alternatives which your dog will enjoy chewing a lot more, here are our top suggestions:
🔻Pizzle or other natural long lasting chews like the forbidden fudge sticks we have @nooshisnibbles
🔻Dried animal skin
🔻Dried ears, tendons and other body parts
🔻Air dried or raw bones
🔻Stuffed Kongs
