بمنطقة أبو رواش و في ضاحية الهرم
بمحافظة الجيزة المصرية الطريق الذي سار عليه الآباء والأجداد باحتراف مهنة الخطر �
وغير عابئين بما يكتنفها من محاذير وصعاب.
أما المهنة التي تحترفها هذه العائلة منذ عقود
فهي صيد الزواحف والأفاعي في صحراء الهرم
لذا صار كثير من أفرادها يختصون بتلك الحرفة وتحول بيت العائلة في المنطقة إلى قبلة للباحثين والمراكز العلمية المتخصصة.
قبل سنوات

استوطنت (عائلة طلبة) منطقة «أبو رواش»
في صحراء محافظة الجيزة في مهنة الصيد البري في وقت كانت صحراء الهرم تعج بمختلف أنواع الحياة البرية ليقوم الأب بنقل خبراته لأولاده
من بعده....
يقول محمد طلبه أحد خبراء صيد الثعابين
تعلمنا فنون هذه المهنة على يدي الجد
كسيب محمد طلبة رحمه الله
والخال الأكبر مسعد كسيب محمد طلبه رحمه الله
الذي كان يصطاد الحيوانات والزواحف والثعابين والأفاعي والعقارب وكنا نخرج رحالات بالأيام
إلى الصحراء والمحافظات المختلفة لملاحقة الحيوانات البرية ثم نعود إلى بيتنا محملين بزواحف عدة خصوصاً الثعابين والطرايش بأنواعها التي كنا نستخرج منها السموم
و كنا نقوم ببيعها إلى مراكز البحوث
للحصول على سمومها واستخدامها كترياق للمصابين بلدغات الثعابين...
تضم عائلة طلبة اليوم أكثر من 500 إلى 600 رجل وأسرته واولاده صبيان أو بنات يعملون في تلك المهنة التي ورثوها ويضيف محمد الأخ الثاني بعد أحمد الصياد المهاري عن صيد الحيوانات والزواحف والحياة البرية؛
تعلمت هذه المهنة منذ سنوات عمري الأولى
منذ أن سمح لي أبي وامي بالخروج مع الأجداد
والأخوال والأقارب للصيد وكنت ألهو صغيراً بما يأتون به من الصحراء من مختلف أنواع الثعابين والكثير منها في مصر غير سام ويتابع تصل أنواع الثعابين المصرية إلى 36 نوعاً من بينها 9 أنواع فقط سامة مثل الكوبرا والحية المقرنة والقرعة والغريبة أما الباقي فهو من الأنواع غير السامة وكثير منها يوجد في القرى ويعيش مع الفلاحين في منازلهم دون أن يؤذي أحداً مثل الثعبان الأرقم وأبو السيور وأبو العيون والازرود والجداري
فالأطفال في عائلة طلبة يعرفون الفرق بين الثعبان السام و غير السام أو الضار و غير ضار
لذا ليس غريباً أن يشاهد من يزور
منطقة أبو رواش أطفال العائلة وهم يلهون مع ثعابين ضخمة ومرعبة ويضحك الاخ محمد طلبه قائلاً هذه الثعابين لا تؤذي لأنها لا تحمل السم في جوفها كما أننا نقوم بإجراءات الأمان بنزع أنيابها حتى لا تؤذي حاملها بالعض وأحياناً ما نغلق أفواهها بخيط رفيع بل ان أطفال العائلة على حداثة أعمارهم يدركون الفرق بين الحية و الأفعى والثعبان حتى إن بعضهم يلهو هادئ البال
مع بعض أنواع الكوبرا..

و مزارع العائلة رغم أنها تعد من أخطر الأنواع
في العالم لأنها شديدة السمية
يقول محمد الصياد :
الكوبرا المصرية هي الأخطر بين مختلف أنواع الكوبرا في العالم لذا فقد حرص المصري القديم على أن تكون ضمن الرسوم التي حفرها على جدران المعابد لأنها ترمز إلى القوة والعنفوان ويضيف محمد

تبدأ عائلة طلبة رحلتها الموسمية للصيد
مع بداية فصل الصيف في كل عام وتستمر
في المدة من إبريل/نيسان حتى أكتوبر/تشرين الأول حيث تخرج الأسرة في مجموعات تضم بعض المساعدين الذين يتولون إقامة معسكرات لاستراحة الصيادين من أبناء العائلة والاحتفاظ بما يقومون بقنصه في الصحراء
وفي السنوات الأخيرة بدأ نشاط عائلة طلبة يتجاوز منطقة الهرم التي كانت حتى وقت قريب هي الساحة المخصصة لهم لعملية الصيد
يقول محمد الصياد
صاحب صفحة صياد الثعابين والحيوانات
أحياناً نذهب في رحلات صيد إلى صحراء سيناء المملوءة بالعديد من أنواع الزواحف وقد تمتد بنا الرحلة إلى جنوب البلاد حتى الحدود المصرية السودانية عند منطقتي توشكى وشلاتين حيث تحفل هذه المنطقة بعدد
من أكثر أنواع الحيوانات والزواحف البرية ندرة التي تخرج من جحورها مع بداية فصل الصيف للاستمتاع بدفئ الشمس بعد انتهاء فترة البيات الشتوي �
طرق وطقوس
تعتمد عليها عائلة طلبه
في مطاردة وصيد الثعابين طرقاً خاصة
توارثوها عن أجدادهم يتم بواسطتها تتبع أثر الثعبان على الأرض يقول
الصياد محمد طلبه:
نستطيع من خلال أثر الزحف أن نعرف نوع الثعبان وطوله ووزنه وذكراً كان أو أنثى ويحرص أفراد العائلة على طقوس خاصة قبل الخروج إلى رحلات القنص يشير إليها

يجب أن يكون ذهن الصياد صافياً لأن الخطأ
في القنص قد يعني الموت ويتذكر محمد الصياد بأسى العديد من أفراد عائلته الذين قضت عليهم رحلات الصيد فمنهم من مات بلدغة ثعبان سام ومنهم من قضى جوعاً وعطشاً بعد التيه
في الصحراء الشاسعة
حيث أن عائلة طلبة تنظر إلى الثعابين باعتبارها كائنات رقيقة ومسالمة
يقول محمد
عنها أنها لا تؤذي أحداً ولا تهاجم الإنسان إلا إذا استشعرت الخطر أو أحست بالجوع ويكفي
أن الكوبرا تقوم بتحذير من يقترب منها قبل أن تهاجمه لكنها لن تتردد لحظة في القضاء عليه إذا ما فكر في المواجهة لذا فإن صيدها يعد الأصعب بين أنواع الأفاعي التي تمتلئ
بها الصحراء المصرية �
ويعلق محمد الصياد :
هي مهنة خطرة ولكنها في الوقت ذاته
تغرس روح التحدي في قلوب الرجال �
فعندما يعود أحدنا إلى بيته بعد رحلة صعبة
وهو محمل بما جادت به الصحراء من خير
يشعر بأن لحياته قيمة ومعنى �
