Paws Crossed Survivors - Page We are Sana and Claire. We are the founders of PCSE. A small sanctuary in Giza and we run a street paws project feeding homeless dogs .

We also run spaying and neutering campaigns to help end the suffering of the strret dogs in Egypt.

More improvement Works are taking place at PCSE, Sana Sana has had workers in to suspend roofs on some of the pens, including ‘Amil’s Garden’ 🥲🏡 so that the dogs have protection from the elements.

Jan is very interested to know what’s going on ! 😌😄🐶

FIRST KIBBLE DROP OF JANUARY 🐾

Sana Sana is using the street paws funds we collected in Dec to buy kibble and distribute within the European compound.

The poor street dogs 🐶 are starving and look forward to their glimmer of hope from Sana.
The work is heartbreaking 💔 but Sana has dedicated herself to helping them and so have we ! Each month we run a money pool to help collect donations towards the street dogs, it’s the least we can do to help end suffering.

Not only does it help feed them but it helps Sana get the dogs friendly enough to take them for spaying/neutering ! So it’s a win win situation ok all parts.

Thank you to all those who donated towards our annual Christmas 🎄 dinner 🥘 Pawty for the dogs.

The cakes will be distributed to the PCSE Dogs, those on the boarding side of the compound and of course the street dogs that live outside our place… it will really feel like a special day being able to treat the dogs 🐶

Sana Sana sent these through a few days ago of the dogs before the playground was tiled !

❤️🙏🐶MEET THE LITTLE MAN JAN🙏❤️🐶
Jan is our NEWEST PCSE Member !!
Because lucky and willow left us a few months ago and got adopted, we had an opening at the sanctuary ! So we decided to help little Jan.

Sana was alerted to a post on fb about a dog hobbling around the streets in a very bad area known for cruelty. Turns out her had a broken front leg and raging infection…not to mention blood parasites, fleas and ticks. Nobody had cared enough to help him…
Until Sana went to find him. He was in a terrible terrible state. Once she had him he then went on antibiotics and was stabilised for a few weeks before surgery. Last week he had an amputation, and it’s very clear to see that he’s doing amazingly better and is so much stronger and happier !!
Sana says it’s like he’s always been a tripaw ! And doesn’t he look happy ?! I guess he knows he’s safe and sound now.

🐾😞🐶Our Julia isn’t well🐾🐶😞

Julia, our majestic old lady 👵 is not very well! She’s been digging holes 🕳️ In the sand , and has obviously ingested lot of sand, which was found in her stomach.

She was rushed to the vets yesterday by Sana Sana and was admitted, scanned and put on IV Fluids. She was given laxative medication and we are hoping she can pass it on her own with out any complications.

Back at the vets today - there is Only a slight change of the size of the tummy from yesterday so we will go on iv fluids and continue with what she is on from yesterday and come back tomorrow again and decide after the 48 hours pass if surgery is needed ! 😔😞❤️‍🩹

Thoughts and prayers with our Julia !!! She’s a survivor , but is old and we are praying she won’t need another surgery !! We are willing her to be ok and Sana is taking good care of her.

We desperately need funds for our DECEMBER kibble and medicine fund.

This month, sana has supported so many dogs! We were contacted by a rescuer far away from us, she sent us horrifying footage of dogs 🐕 with EXTREME MANGE, Even a mother and her pups 😢

‼️To help her, Sana sent boxes of BRAVECTO which helps treat mange. Heartbreakingly, it’s all we could do. The lady who contacted Sana took videos of the dogs getting the medication so that we knew it had been given. And she will continue to feed and look out for them.
🐕we are very happy to Help these cases as we had some bravecto left over. But we want to help more ! And we want to also support street dogs with kibble this Dec!

🆘Our target this month is £500 (to buy food and medications) PLEASE 🙏 IF YOU CAN HELP THEN PLEASE 🙏 DONATE !! The link is in our bio ! We hope to help many more helpless dogs like this.

Just sharing a few videos of our TNR Release videos ! Sana will be updating with another TNR update soon. So far we have SPAYED/NEUTERED 14 dogs . That is saving THOUSANDS of lives being born into suffering.

We do need help though, we haven’t raised nearly enough this month for our KIBBLE and TNR fund ! 😭
The street dogs we feed will suffer tremendously because of this.

We are asking for donations for our DECEMBER MONEY POOL 🐾❤️‼️🐶🎄 to help us feed the strays around us and pay for our last 4 females that we spayed ! As we didn’t raise enough last month to cover the remaining expenses.

🥹❤️INTRODUCING ANGELS CLINIC🥹❤️

🎊🎉Ok, settle in and grab a cuppa !! While you watch our wonderful Sana Sana introduce you to our brand new ONSITE CLINIC !!!!💃🎉👏🎊

This is a very big deal for us at PCSE, years in the making and all we’ve dreamed of…

We were gifted a portacabin and have converted it in to a small clinic !! ❤️🥹

We’ve been working on this since PROJECT since May this year, and it’s been a lot of extra work and Co ordinating. operating in Egypt 🇪🇬 is difficult if not near on impossible….it’s dangerous, lacks rescources, and everything takes so long to get done..

As always - Sana has done the majority of the work !!! Sourcing equipment, kitting out the cabin..Working tirelessly for months….this woman really is Wonder Woman!

We have 4 large bespoke crates inside, that can be made into two (so 8 ) in the recovery room
Also we have a bathroom and seperate sink area for our sterilisation unit.

The surgery room had a surgical table /tools cabinets and more pre op crates. We also have an oxygen machine and monitor.

It also has AIRCON units !! So the dogs are comfortable inside.

🐾WE have now COMPLETED OUR FIRST TNR !!! 🐾 (neutering and spaying)

Sana is here to show our new facility and explain the importance of our work here in EGYPT 🇪🇬!! 🙌🥹🇪🇬
