This man was forced to give his dog to Humane Society due to lengthy hospital stay. This nurse went to the shelter and adopted his dog. She brings him to visit daily & will return him as soon as the man is released! Be the light in this world, even through the dark times ❤️

Hi!!
I'm LUNA and I'm one of the fashionable dogs of the shelter.

I like wearing sweaters, and I like doggie treats and playing with my chew toys. I love to be hugged and I love to play. Nice to meet you!!

Oh and I'm waiting to be adopted. Will you be my new MOM or DAD?

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue organization based in Cairo, Egypt, dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abandoned and homeless dogs.

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue was born out of the need to provide a safe and loving environment for animals in Cairo who have been neglected, abandoned, or abused where they can recover and be integrated into society with their new owners.

Previously known as VOV shelter, Lucky Dog stepped in to maintain the standards of the shelter, which were actually perilous to the animals. Lucky Dog felt compelled to do their part to save these furry friends.

They understand that the task at hand is immense, but they remain committed to the cause. After all, it's not just their dogged determination that sets them apart, but their love for their four-legged friends.

Their mission is to provide quality care and shelter to these animals until they can find their forever homes. They also aim to educate the community about the importance of responsible pet ownership and spaying/neutering their pets.

Lucky Dog knows that pet ownership is a serious business, and they're determined to spread the word like a pack of hounds on the scent of a squirrel.

Of course, Lucky Dog Animal Rescue understands that they cannot do this alone, and they rely heavily on the support of the community. They have a team of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure that these animals receive the care they deserve. They're always looking for new volunteers to join their pack, and they welcome anyone who shares their passion for animal welfare.
