What breeder drives 5 hours round trip to have a health testing done? THIS ONE DOES!!! Tonka and Joplin got passing scores of Grade 1 on the OFA Respiratory Function Grading, also known as BOAS testing, sponsored by the club we belong to, French Bulldog Fanciers Of The Northeast. We missed the MA dog shows this weekend because yesterday's weather was unpleasant and I just wasn't feeling well, and today because of this little nugget. Meet Astra the non-Frenchie of McSham. We support both adoption from rescues and buying from a responsible breeder. To each his own, there's no need to bash one or the other. The only thing we don't support is breeding irresponsibly and unethically for pure profit.

A hard thing for a breeder is deciding that a dog they have raised since birth isn't turning out like they had hoped. An even harder thing is deciding to let them go to a new home. Atticus, you have always been a good, loving, silly boy. We know you will be cared for and loved, and will bring smiles to everyone you meet. We will miss you so much but are so happy for you and your new pet parents 🩵🐾

Yesterday we said goodbye to Rori, aka Little Angry Dude, a true Frenchie legend, at the wonderful age of 15 years and 4 months. Rori was the last of our O's n X's crew, before we became McSham. He had no problem telling you he did not agree with what was happening, especially nail trims, but he always tried hard to behave when I held him. He lived a long, healthy life with his family, full of love and a raw diet. I am forever grateful to them for providing him with whatever he needed. We should all be so lucky. Rest In Peace, Rori. You were loved by so many!!! ☘️🐾🩵💔
