Bing, bang, boom!! HOME SAFE after 12 days! I was contacted Saturday evening by WillaBoo's humans, she busted through a screen 9 days prior and no sign of her. Set up feeding station on Sunday with trail camera and sure enough, there she is! Set trap Monday night and again, there she is!! Trapped and home safe. What a good little girl. Textbook capture. You're GROUNDED FOR LIFE little miss! Welcome home WillaBoo!

This sweet young girl is missing from Spencer Plains Rd. in Westbrook. She was recently spayed, but healed, and hair just starting to grow back. She is not wearing her collar. Please share for her heartbroken humans 💔

WOO HOO! After 4 long weeks, Seymour from Coventry was trapped at 12:16am this morning. He's lost some weight but otherwise seems ok. He will of course be heading to the vet for a thorough check. You are a stubborn little hobo Seymour 😽 (we've had him on camera for awhile, just not going in trap). His humans were absolutely amazing and did everything right. I couldn't be happier for them. Seymour, YOU'RE GROUNDED FOR LIFE! Enjoy that couch.

Good morning friends! Please consider donating to my two fundraising efforts to help our neighborhood feral kitty we call Big Head. He is loved by our neighborhood but he is now seriously injured and cannot put any weight on his front right paw. He also needs to be vetted and neutered. If everyone could donate any amount, even a dollar, to my fundraisers posted separately on this page below this post (there are two separate posts right below this one on this page with the Go Fund Me links for each rescue helping. Welcome Maxwell and Ms. Gray to Buddy's Bed and Breakfast!! Their dad is moving back to Connecticut from Nashville and they were transported here by our good friend Jodi, following our fun trip to Nashville. They are settling in and will be here for 6-8 weeks. Welcome kitties 😸😸

Tyler was trapped a couple of hours ago and is home safe!!! As I'm quite far from where Tyler went missing, and still recuperating from health issues, I'd like to sincerely say thank you to Melissa (from another rescue) for jumping in, and then trapping this sweet boy. Teamwork makes the dream work. All rescues should work together. I see so many who don't. I am so grateful. Welcome home Tyler!! You are most definitely grounded for life 😻

Found long haired black kitty, intact male, no microchip, on Woods Rd/Pleasant Valley Rd. Friendly. Mansfield has a mandatory cat spay neuter ordinance and intact cats will be impounded to prevent unwanted litters.

This sweet, pregnant kitty was found on Cody Circle in South Windsor. The finder is searching for an owner. Animal Control came out and scanned for a microchip and none was found. She is safe inside with the finder. Please share and contact me here if anyone recognizes her.

Hello Friends,
I'm asking for all your prayers, good juju, and well wishes as I undergo surgery for a thoracic aortic aneurysm tear tomorrow morning at St Francis Hospital. I'm absolutely terrified, but my surgeon is confident all will go well. I have a Type B focal tear which I'm told I am very lucky, as a Type A is the one that drops you instantly. And by drop, I mean permanently. It took me awhile to make my peace with this as I was a walking, sobbing, catastrophic bitch for a week. You truly don't know how strong you are, until you have no choice. Love you my friends 💓 Maureen

After 20 days on the run Loretta has been safely trapped by Ctdgrv Karen. Special thanks to Carolyn and Manchester Animal Control for all your help. Thanks to Shawn, Shana, Carol and Tessa for all the support. Many thanks to all the people who left out food, watched for her on their security cams ,called in sightings allowed trap on their property, just everything! It takes a Village and everyone was just awesome. So thank you all!

This pretty girl was visiting relatives and while out on a walk got spooked and slipped her harness and leash. She is very skittish and is not familiar with the area. We ask that if you see her please just call the number on the flyer. This is a very busy traffic area so if seen please Do Not Chase or Call out to her.

Zoey, who went missing in Brookfield 3 months ago, is home safe! Miss Zoey has a long story to tell!! Her dad had been tirelessly searching for her. About 2 months ago, he found her living in an abandoned barn. He reached out for my help. Her dad informed me that Zoey had already been trapped (borrowed trap fell apart and Zoey escaped) and then she also was gotten by using calming signals (but she was startled by something and jumped out of dad's arms). On November 1st, Zoey's dad made the long trek from Brookfield to Manchester to borrow a much larger trap from me as Zoey wasn't having it with the regular sized traps. After catching some skunks and Zoey wandering around the trap, but not going in, Zoey finally went in the trap on November 6th, only to escape like Houdini after the door got tangled up in leaves! (first video). Every night her Dad set the trap, but Zoey wouldn't go in. We trap trained her by tying the trap open and putting the food in front and pushing it back each day. She finally went all the way in to eat. The trap is now set to capture and what does Zoey do? She steps right over the trip plate 🙀. Night after night, going in to eat, the trap not tripping. Poor Dad!! Fast forward to yesterday, Miss Zoey was finally trapped!!! Long journey over! She seems in good shape, thin, but ok and will be seen promptly by her vet. Nelly from West Hartford is home safe after 2 weeks. He is an indoor/outdoor cat who got himself in quite the pickle. He found himself locked in a neighbors basement storage area (see video, mom went back today to investigate where he'd been). His mom was out in the backyard feeding squirrels and calling for Nelly when she heard a cat meowing. She followed the sounds to the neighbors basement storage area. Poor Nelly had been locked in for 2 weeks! Hard to imagine that noone in the house heard him down there. This could have ended very badly. Nelly has lost some weight, but has been thoroughly checked at the vet last night and will be just fine.
