Ooooooooh Greek yoghurt - where have you been all my life? I get right to the bottom of the pot too 😁
Well today was very odd! Mum woke up when she heard banging from the dog room - that was us, of course, ready to go for a wee 😁. We piled out while Mum made coffee and looked at the weather map, to see if any rain might be on the way. Doesn't look like it - again 😭 - but she got our coats anyway. Dad got up just as we were going out because he's helping Sue again with jobs to waterproof and windproof an outdoor kennel area.
We bounced up the hill as usual, with the wind behind us keeping us lovely and cool (Mum said perfect walking weather). Henry always has the wind behind him, but that's another story entirely 😂. When we got to the farm gate it was still dark but the gate was open 😱 - very odd. Mum was a bit concerned and messaged Dad - she thought there might be burglars or poachers about 😳 so she kept an eye and ear out for anything strange. The barrier was up too, but no lights at the farm or vehicles, so Mum was still very watchful, especially with 2 rampant pods bashing up and down the hillsides.
Then when we got to the solar panels at the top of the walk (still only just light) she saw Cesar's red pickup 🚛 down in the valley. Which is still very odd as she couldn't work out what on earth he'd be doing down there. She messaged Dad to let him know at least it wasn't burglars or poachers - phew! 🥵.
We made our way back towards home and Dad and Hugo met us on the track as usual. Hugo always gets all scampery when we're reunited, bless his little wonky legs 🥰. Dad agreed it was all a bit bizarre but at least we'd had a good walk and not got into any trouble! (Haha, that's what he thinks 😂). Or met any nasty burglars.
I did a bit of limbering up for choir practice on the way back but nobody was joining in - boring spoil sports!
We've had all our meds, and cake 🍰 and Mum's now feeding a whinging Pip tostada biscuits 🍪!
Morning choir practice - all together now! (ARF)
