Jetteke is another shelter dog I took out for a bit of a break from the kennel life. She was very nervous and didn't seem to have been walked on a lead before so we took it very slow and spent lots of time having little cuddles and giving gentle encouragement. Hopefully little by little she will learn the joy of walks 🥰

Love this picture! I spend a lot of my free time at a local dog sanctuary and last week took a couple of dogs out of the shelter for a beach walk. This lovely spaniel is Despùt and he had such a good day 💕

A walk in the wet woods for Christmas! Here at Hester's Dog Services we don't mind some bad weather, not that it usually lasts long here in the Costa del Sol!

Some good tips for keeping your dog happy this weekend! Sniffy walks are especially important for our dogs as they actually tire them out far more than a run around! I always try to mix up our walks with lots of sniffy stops then some games and a bit of recall training.

🐶A firm favourite with all the dogs I walk is my homemade liver cake. They will do absolutely anything to get their paws on it, making training much easier!
