A few days ago 4 horses who have been in my care for nearly 4 years left to move to the north of Spain 🇪🇦 to finally be reunited with their owner.
As anyone that knows me and knows how I treat every horse that comes through our stable gates as one of my own, can relate to the 💔 heartbreak for me to say goodbye 😢.
I am sad but so happy at the same time for them 🐴🐴🐴🐴.
Running a livery yard and having horses come in and out is not as easy as people think. I do get sooooooo attached to each and everyone and so do the other horses that are still left behind, when their friend/s leave.
I do look forward to welcoming the next group of horses entering our gates, but still will always hold close to my heart the horses that have left our stables ❤️ and started new chapters with there owners ❤️.

We at Acebuche Stables always try to make sure our clients horses needs are met 💯 %.. With the fly season in full swing it's great that we can offer the service of fly spraying to relieve the horses from the nasty fly bites..
I have been making this product for my clients in SA 🇿🇦 and Spain 🇪🇸 for over 15 years and it works very well and smells devine 🩷.

A few weeks ago I met a local farmer to my area, and of course what do we talk about but horse feed of course 🤣.
Yesterday he brought me some straw for bedding and it's fabulous 😍. Soft clean and the horses have left the hay to eat the bedding 🫣.
Everyone has lovely topped up bedding now 💪 in there paddocks , we have very content horses.
Today he will bring me a few bale's of Avenate to try out so will share tomorrow what my thoughts are and of course what the horses think of it 💕.
Let's hope the quality is fab and I can buy local as that has always been my intention buy local support the local farmers 👍.

🐴The first two weeks in June are still open for any holiday bookings .🐴
Acebuche stables is booked up now from the end of July till middle of September with holiday livery💕.
If you should wish to book a slot before the end of July we will try and accommodate your horse/s.
If there are any cancellations I will notify on this page and our Acebuche Stables private group.

So the 3 Arabs🐴🐴🐴 are back for a shot holiday while mum and dad are taking a little trip to France.
Lovely having them back and just love 💕 how they felt straight at home. They settled in from the moment they stepped out of the horse box.

ACEBUCHE STABLES OFFERS ALL OF THE ABOVE.
We offer livery for retired horses, youngsters, stallions, broodmares, horses needing care while recovering from an accident and also rehabilitation. We can also cater for holiday makers needing a place to keep your horse, while you go on holiday or bring your horse with you and explore the Altiplano on horse back. We have thousands of hecters of nature reserve right on our door step, endurance riders paradise. Our area has Cave accomodation close by if you would like to experience something different and restaurants where you can pop into for a menu of the day after riding or visiting your horse.
We are a non competetive yard and strive on peaceful surroundings for horses and owners. We only cater for a small amount of horses as we are a family run business and like to be able to give a 100 % to each horse.
We have a lovely dressage arena, crush and wash bay. Horses are outside all day even the stallions and some sleep out all year round, entirely up to you if you would like them stabled at night. We feed plenty of hay and good quality concentrates. Each paddock has a shelter to keep horses cool in summer and dry in winter. We have two large paddock for the mares, youngsters and geldings to go in. The stallions are all in good sized individual safe paddocks . We can also keep your horse fit if you should need. The riding is superb as we are situated under the sierra de Baza nature reserve. There is over 54.000 hecters just waiting for you to explore. All riding is on safe Camino roads.
Acebuche Stables is situated just outside of Baza in the Granada province.

We are a livery yard that offers so much . We strive on peaceful surroundings for horses and owners. We only cater for a small amount of horses as we are a family run business and like to be able to give a 100 % to each horse.
We have a lovely outdoor arena for schooling, lunging, or just playing with your horse! A lockable tack room with your own personal space, separate feed store, wash area, a crush for those unexpected vet visits, and regular attention from an excellent farrier. A professional livery yard owner , with 35+ years of experience looking after all types of horses, from top class competiors to the companion pony, who always has your horses best interests at heart 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Horses are outside all day even the stallions and some sleep out all year round, entirely up to you if you would like them stabled at night as we do have lovely safe good sized stables available. We feed plenty of hay and good quality concentrates. Each paddock has a shelter to keep horses cool in summer and dry in winter. So an early start to the day 🌄 with a beautiful sunrise.
Today was a big day for Lucero as this was the second attempt to load and travel to his owner in the UK.
We had to load him on the farm first which he did easily 💗. Then take him down to a meeting place close by where we off loaded him and reloaded onto the big truck . We have been working closely with Lucero since the last attempt to load on the lorry, and today proved that work and trust means I will follow you ❤️.
Goodbye big boy I have loved been part of your journey and wish you well on your new adventure in England with your mummy ❤️.
