Hugo’s home farm has primarily been set up as a rescue centre by Helping Coco Horse Rescue, a registered charity here in Spain. Hugo’s home farm has primarily been set up as a rescue centre by Helping Coco Horse Rescue, a registered charity here in Spain. This is a small holding with a license for up to 9 equines. The equ

ines are rescued, rehabilitated and put on the rehoming program in the UK. With only a licence for 9 equines, rehoming is paramount for the success of this equine charity. Colin the founded of the charity has set up the centre and added a few more animals along the way. On your visit you may come across chickens, ducks, love birds, peacocks, micro pigs, pygmy goats, alpacas, donkeys, ponies and of course horses. With the on going costs and day to day running of the centre. Care for the equines, vets bill, farrier, UK transport fees. It was decided to add the other animals to create a small petting corner for kids and the chance to walk alpacas to help create a little income to pay for the Equines. The rescue centre is still a work in progress but has opened its doors to the public by appointment only. If you would like to come along just drop us a little message.

I’ve been asked to share this…

Found in Camposol area. This is the info from the person who has found them. If anyone is interested in them contact me today and I’ll pass the persons number on to contact direct…

We are unable to take on more dogs and remind ourselves we are set up to help equines .

INFO I WAS SENT…

The blonde is female,
the brown one is a boy.
We found them yesterday in the campo, probably dumped. They are shy and not really used to (gentle and loving..) human contact and scream if you get close. They like to cuddle together in a corner and we let them be to give them the peace.

The character (once you pick them up and pet them on back and head) of both is soft (they are (2 months old and have no parent!)

They are lovable but will soon grow to big for us, otherwise we would chip and keep them.

We already have two strays but in a smaller size. They eat the small dry dogfood i gave them and drink and just had a preventive flee and tick tablet from the vet.

This week ( sebs doesn’t know yet 🤣 ) This week we are going to start the extension for the meerkats.

For a while we have been concerned about their safety as their current enclosure is 2 meters down. We wanted to leave them naturally as possible to dig their own tunnels and burrows. But we have no control over them down there to check on their health etc. Or worried tunnels collapsing on them.

The new side will have stone burrows with heat lamps. They will have sand to play in. But its a cemented bottom already. We are doing 1 meter high pillars from building blocks and shower glass greens for the walls. As they require as much sun as possible and can’t climb the glass.

Once this is complete, they will be moved over, we will then make the current enclosure safer. And have a tube connecting the 2 areas.

We think it’s going to cost us around €1000 as it’s 5 glass screens and building blocks and insulated roofing on the back part.

If anyone has £1 to spare can you please send it over. It would be much appreciated. Then we can hopefully get this started and finished by next week 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️

Thank you

My shows in Benidorm for 2025. You can work out if I’m in your hotel from the dates on this and your own calendar. Subjected to change…

My favourites to come home too. I don’t think any other animals will come close to them ❤️❤️❤️

Can’t believe I forgot to share this at Xmas. I’ve only just remembered, as someone just told me their dog died.…. WELL….

Seb doesn’t really speak English. But understands more when people talk but can’t reply really. So sometimes just guesses his reply 🙈🙈😅.

There was an elderly women talking to him whilst I was sorting the T-shirts out. I would jump in and out translating for them. Anyway caught the tail end.

As we are all about the animals and seb just guesses people are just saying well done for what you do etc. or giving a donation. So generally the reply is “thank you.”

The tail end of the conversation was the women telling him her cat died recently and he was like ”thank you” 🙈🙈🙈😅🤣

( please don’t be on my Facebook 🙈🙈🤣 )

I really don’t follow what goes on in the world. But regardless if people want Trump in or not. Without sounding ageist, the retirement age for most countries is 65 years of age. Putting someone in that position at 78 years of age is crazy to me.

In Benidorm tonight and tomorrow…

January shows in Benidorm….

Couple of changes for 2025.

No longer I’ll be doing the Riudor or the Regente Hotels. I decided a while ago to stop, but decided to see it out to the end of the year.
My show is a visual show and you need to see it.
With the shape of the rooms and pillars there is too many obstructions.

As you can see Rio Park is still there. I don’t have the Flamingo Oasis for January but will be back from February. January they move to the piano bar and the space isn’t suitable for my show.

I’m now in Cafe Benidorm every Tuesday and Wednesday from 9pm. Then buddies on a Wednesday at 11pm.

CARAVAN / MOTOR HOME TRAVELLING AROUND SPAIN.

We are a rescue centre for abused and neglected equines. Amongst other animals.
Maybe you have seen the farm on Bargain Loving Brits in the Sun on Channel 5.

We are in the Murcia Region.
Google - Hugo’s Home Farm.
We are 20mins from Murcia airport
45 minutes from Alicante airport
Only 15 minutes from Murcia city centre.

We are opening our diary for 2025.

The spots look over our paddocks and stables.
We have 2 places for people to park up. You are more than welcome to volenteer your time to help clean and feed the animals. All we ask is a small donation of your choice to the charity when you leave.

We have water, hook ups, waste disposal. Plus a shower room in the near future.
Great access and all closed in and secure.
We are not a campsite we have just created 2 fanatic spots for people to park up.
