Holly is now in her forever home and a lovely update from her new mum 🩷
We’ve just been to an enclosed field, so she’s had her first run off the lead. She absolutely loved it. She’s been brilliant, she slept in a dog bed downstairs for the first two nights and then up on our bed!! Up until yesterday she would get on the sofa but as far away from us as possible and last night was right next to me. When she’s tired though, she doesn’t want a stroke and she’ll tell you nicely. You can see that she wants to get on the sofa and snuggle with the other two but she’s not sure yet if they will let her lol 😆 You literally see a change in her every day. I’ve been training her with a clicker, which has been going well too!! Xx

HUCK 💕
18 months old male Podenco looking for his forever home .
HUCK is a lovely boy who is now showing trust in humans . He was nervous on the lead but that is improving all the time .
HUCK has been good with all the other dogs and has not been reactive to any cats he’s seen .

HECTOR 🩷
Looking for his forever sofa is Hector , a lovely male galgo who is currently in foster in Spain .
Hector lived outdoors for a long time but has now adjusted well to living inside in his foster home .
He is good with the other dogs in the home and plays well with one female dog in particular .
He is calm inside and happy to be lazy , and in typical galgo style can be a goof when playing in the garden.
Hector is 6 years old and ready to travel .

The puppies are growing nicely.
We think dad could have been a pointer ( but not sure ) mum full Podenco .
Pups will reach the grand age of 4/5 months by the end of September and will be ready to travel on our UK trip that is planned for 21st22nd .
The brown pups are bigger , currently weighing approx 5 kilos
The white pups a bit smaller , between 3 and 5 kilo .

Is still searching for his forever home .
He’s a smaller size Podenco approx 18 months old and full of fun .
Kit gets very excited playing with the other dogs so if he is homed with another dog expect some mad play antics . He can also be homed as an only dog.
Kit has been good when out and about on the lead .
He is ready to travel . The next UK trip is end September .
We also home to the US Rocky Mountains and West .

PUPPIES 🩷
The pups are still in quarantine until they’ve had all their vaccines .
A lovely little lively bunch , a mad bundle of pups . Only Sweetie seems to be very quiet which makes us worry she might be deaf ( or maybe she’s just a quiet little girl )
They will all be having vaccines and further vets checks soon but seem a very healthy bunch full of fun and mischief .

Looking for her forever home .
Holly is a small sized Podenco approx 11 kilo .
2 years old
She was found in Spain with tether wounds on her neck indicating she had been tied up.
Holly is an active girl who enjoys her walks in long grass on a long line and harness, Podenco diving in the typical poddie way . She has also been enjoying zoomies in an enclosed field and loves to run.
So far she has also been good when left for a short period . Her foster mum says she’s a lovely little dog who has good social skills.
Holly travels well in the car and has recently enjoyed a holiday with her foster family where she adapted well to the new environment.
She loves toys and plays well .
She has been great walking with the foster carers dog walker too.
Holly will make a great addition to a family.
Holly is reactive to cats and does have typical Podenco prey drive around birds .

Holly is a small sized Podenco approx 2 years old that was found in Spain with tether wounds on her neck . The fur has since grown back well and despite her past trauma Holly is a friendly girl who has taken to living in a home well .
She likes to play a lot with the foster carers younger playful dog so a home with another playful friend is a must , she also played well with male dogs at the rescue so male or female friends are fine .

Caddy ❤️ 9 or 10 years old. Her Leish has always been off the scale. 😢
But with her treatments and Alopurinol she loves life, been a happy little girl for 7 years.
But now it's time for palatine care and spoil her rotten for how ever long she says it's okay 👍
This is a nasty Leish lesion.

Sad day today. We put Fin to sleep, he'd been with us over 12 years, a small but mighty peeing machine, he pee'd on anything and everything lol (only once on my shoes) 😏 So he became one of our sponsor dogs. A huge thank you to the 2 ladies that did sponsor him monthly. ❤️ We think he was at least 16 years old may be 18, had a grand life and very loved by all that knew him.
