MOUSE 🩷
In foster in Surrey UK

Mouse arrived in foster at the weekend .
She is a very small approx 2 years old female Podenco .

It is very early days and Mouse is yet to show her true personality but we think that she would probably be best suited as an only dog or with a very chilled second dog as she does like to have all the attention and gets a bit jealous.

She has seen the resident cat and attempted a chase so second introductions will be once she has settled and relaxed more.

She’s happy with humans and thrives on their attention .

Mouse was taken in after being abandoned in a market in Spain . She first went into foster in Spain , then to the rescue and now to the UK into foster so she’s had lots of uncertainty. Time to decompress in her foster home and hopefully a loving forever home where she can get all the attention will have her blossoming .

MAPLE 🩷

Happy endings loving the best life in the US , learning the routine quickly and tiring herself out on the ranch … she’s found the snooze spots very quickly .

This weekend we will see the last of the candy shop 9 pups make their way to their forever home when Flossie ( to be called Stella ) will arrive in the UK . So pleased for all these beautiful pups .

🐶 Say hello to Kaylee! She’s our newest colleague and four-legged helper, adopted just a month ago from the Spanish organization Ibizan Hound Rescue. Thanks to the amazing collaboration of Galgos de la Estrella and Adopce psů bez hranic, Kaylee made her way to the Czech Republic and straight into our hearts.

Kaylee is only 6 months old and living her best puppy life. At home, she loves playing with her doggy brother (we’ll tell you more about him soon!). And let’s just say… her owner sometimes wonders if she adopted a kangaroo instead of a dog—Kaylee could totally compete in a world championship for both long and high jump! 🦘

🖥️ But Kaylee isn’t just about fun and games—she’s got an important "job" here at Bene Meat. She’s helping us develop cultivated meat as a feed ingredient for her canine pals. Her boundless enthusiasm keeps us motivated and reminds us why we do what we do.

🌍 And honestly, Kaylee’s sweet personality is what makes her a star. She adores everyone she meets, and everyone immediately falls in love with her. She’s a daily inspiration for all of us to keep moving forward in our mission.

Our babies have arrived in the USA. Big thank you to The Sanctuary at Bluebird Lane and Alisha and the ladies who gathered them up at the airport.

Sleep Easy beautiful NOBELLA 🩷

Yesterday Nobella, one of our permanent residents took her usual lunchtime nap but sadly never woke up . Our beautiful girl had passed away peacefully in her sleep which even though estimated to be approximately 14 years old still came as a shock, and now her little favourite spot in the hallway seems quiet and empty .

Nobella came to us many years ago and although for a while we thought she could find herself a forever home it soon became obvious that she was to stay here at the rescue long term .
She didn’t care much for us humans and tolerated the dogs spending the first year upstairs, not wanting to come down but gradually she began to trust that this was a safe place .
Nobella was happy in her own little world spending days plodding around and enjoying the sun .
In January she began to look poorly but bloodwork only discovered arthritis and nothing more sinister .

We are happy that she was part of our crazy pack and grateful thst she let us get to know her ( even if it was just a little bit )

Rest easy girl …. NOBELLA 🩷🌈

HUCK 💙

Looking for his forever home .
Young HUCK is approx 8 months old . Initially nervous he has really blossomed . He has been good out on walks and calm visiting cafes . Busier areas will need to still be built up gradually . He has not been reactive to cats .
A beautiful boy , 17 kilos , castrated with a beautiful deep red coat .

Looking for his forever home

Approx 6 years old

Hector is in foster in Spain and ready to travel .

Hector is not especially lively. Normal couch potato indoors and outside he varies. Might charge round like mad with another dog but not for very long and then he just wanders around doing doggy things like sniffing.

Can anyone offer our older boy MUNGO a loving retirement home ?

Mungo has a passport age of 12 ( he could be younger )
He is not been reactive to cats or birds and has been a real gent since he was rescued from horrific conditions along with Midge and Mary who have both since been adopted .

A lovely calm home would be ideal where he can spent his retirement in loving comfort .

Name is Diego but won't answer to that. Will answer to Diggy or Digs
Good with other dogs but prefers sighthounds and lives with a 5 year old collie/whippet female who he adores and an 18 month springador
He's not cat friendly

Diego needs to find emergency foster as he has bitten a 15 year old boy after being sleep startled .
He’s not been aggressive at any other times .
Diego came to the UK as a 4 month old pup and has always been in the same home .

His mum describes him as a big goof who is lovely natured but sleep startles easily .
